Comment:
My experience in this class was absolutely awful. He teaches his opinions as facts and they are often ignorant and rude/insulting to certain groups. Maybe he is trying to be funny? It didn't work. And don't get me started on his laser pointer. I left that class upset almost every time.

Although Stewart is a nice and very intelligent guy his teaching skills arent so nice. Get ready to teach your self the entire course because thats what I did. His tests are based on lecture slides and the book. They are very broad tests but only 20 multiple choice which makes it hard. Very hard class dont recommend taking it with him.

While he does stick to his outline and is consistent, myself and others found his style of lecturing challenging. He will often go on HIGHLY opinionated and hypocritical tangents. While there is no class participation except taking notes, he frequently runs out of time during lectures. His class isn't difficult and it is simple to get good grades.

Stewart is a terrible lecturer, you don't learn anything by listening to him. Although he does attendance so you have to go to his lectures. His tests were 20mc on 6 modules.. which was EXTREMELY difficult because of the very few questions. I do not recommend anyone taking his class.

He is very unprofessional, and boring! His class is very boring, to the point where you shouldn't even bother attending, just read the book. He makes remarks such as "Girls have no reason to be moody on their periods". Like what?

He definitely knows what he's talking about, but his lectures are so incredibly boring- like, so boring that it feels like you've been there for hours. His tests are all multiple choice so as long as you read the book and the notes he puts on moodle you'll be fine. But you really need to read the book in order to get a good grade.

He required A LOT of reading, but gave you links to print them off. Sometimes he classes got slightly boring. Because he was very kind and helpful this did not ruin the enjoyment of the class. The readings he assigned are interesting. One of the profs that stops to talk to you! I'd totally take him again, even though I am no longer a CBU student,

Stewart is a nice guy, but his lectures are very boring. The course isn't too difficult as long as you read and study the text. If you're in class, you may pick up on something useful for the testsexam, but not likely. Everything you need to learn is in the book. Go to class just for the extra marks.

Stewart is brilliant. The best professor CBU has. I could listen to him speak for hours. Everything that comes out of his mouth makes perfect sense. Fantastic advisor. I still think of the impact he had on me...

Stewart is hands-down the most boring prof I've ever taken. His lectures are useless, don't bother going. If you read your book cover to cover you'll do fine. He does not care about any of his students nor will he ever. Joke.

He was the rudiest professor I have ever had. Not only did he offended me personally once, but he did it in front of the class in which I walked out and reported him to the Dean. I ended up getting a full refund for my textbook and the 6-credit course. But this left a bad taste in my mouth about CBU and I am not returning there becasue of him.

not a bad guy, but there's a reason he marks on attendence - you wouldn't attend otherwise. study the book and skip the class; you'll do fine.

I took this course through distance so I have very little contact with Stewart but he seems like he's a nice guy. all you have to do is read the book and the notes and you'll do fine. His tests are all multiple choice and pretty straightforward if you studied.

Brutal. There is not need to attend this class. Read the chapters in the book and study it and you'll pass with flying colors. The tests are all 50 multiple choice questions and the final is 100.
