Knows his stuff. Good at answering questions and enjoys the material he teaches. Cares about the students and wants you to do well. Enjoys asking theoretical questions like proofs and concepts. Also is an amateur magician and performs tricks. Gets caught up in his own world sometimes at your expense.

Easy-as-sin quizzes, awful midterm and final. Blames the class when he wastes so much time (magic tricks? >:( ) Should have been a great class, given the material (which I knew from elsewhere), but I grew to absolutely hate it. He seems cool at the beginning (cheat sheets, bonus assgs), but avoid if at all possible. A students get B+'s.

We did about 40 proofs, no proofs were on the final. We spent an hour talking about the history of pi, no history was on the final. Then, he didn't teach us everything that was on the final because he claimed we "wasted too much time." Yet, he spent time to tell us that "0.999999...=1". If you use MathXL, just use the study plan to teach yourself.

the worrrst teacher i have ever had. only does proofs, which doesnt help you to understand the material at all. barely does examples and explainations. likes to get off topic and talk about random stuff thats usually boring. o and he does magic tricks. i aced calc in highschool but when i revisited it in his class i almost failed.

He has easy open note quizzes and allows a single double sided cheat sheet for midterm and final. his quizzes do not reflect his midterms or finals what so ever. I do not recommend taking his class unless you are prepared to get at most a B+. A+ student will get a B+. our class average for final was 57%. he refused to curve.very hard overall

Very smart guy who knows how to teach! He almost teaches things too slow and does too many examples but that's really the only bad thing about lectures (they're long and boring and repetitive). Midterm and Final exams are BRUTAL! you'll study hard and still leave the exam feeling like you failed!

Great professor! I thought his class was very well taught and very interesting. He keeps his class fun but really teaches the concepts well. In addition to the fact that he's one of the nicest people I've met, he does a good job. There are not surprises on quizzes, and he truly cares about the students. Completely recommend.

Fantastic. He keeps it a bit slow, but really offers the concepts well. Magic tricks on Mondays don't hurt. Very good teacher.

I really enjoyed and understood calculus prior to taking this class. I find him very hard to follow. He obviously loves what he does but we are in a engineering course with a focus on usability - he spends too much time on theory and proofs. These days I hardly ever understand what he's talking about.

The class was easy in its own.... easy assignments, extremely easy quizzes, and not too bad of a mid-term. The prof was willing to help if you needed it. His magic tricks on fridays were very enjoyable (although at some points useless). Overall the class was good but the FINAL was EXTREMELY HARD! He likes to cram all final material in the last wee

Dr. Zvengrowski was the first prof that I met in university! I was in his linear algebra class first thing in the morning! He emphasize on technique and proof. His quiz is easy if you read over the note and do the assignment. He also have extra help for midterm and final!

He was really good and really fair with everything in the course. The midterm and quizzes completely followed his assignments, so if you do them, you will be fine. The only issue I had was that the final was not based on the assignment and came out of left field.

Maybe I'm just smart, but I thought the course was really easy. He went at a slow pace and all the examples were easy enough to follow. Only the last unit was tough as it didn't follow the textbook and there were limited practice questions. Although had we asked him for more, he probably would have gave us some. The class average was really low tho

he jumps all over the place and will go over the same example multiple times. he is a very knowledgable teacher but will spend 15 minutes every class talking about useless history trivia youd expect to find on a trivial pursuit question. he was teaching well up till the midterm, now its been over 3 weeks and we have learned only one thing.

Refused to explain his own theories fully but tested us on them anyway. Demanded random information and did magic tricks in class even though we were asking for help about math.
