Comment:
Professor Don is a great prof with great enthusiasm. However, his lectures for Art 245 are literally him talking about paintings every day and since attendance is mandatory you can't just not go. In my opinion class is not needed to pass this class and I never opened my books. Be ready though because you will likely have 3 different "finals"

Don is an excellent professor. He can be a bit dry at times, but that it the material, not the professor's personal responsibility to entertain a class of children who thought that Art History would be easy. Art History is difficult, and be ready to memorize many works of art, but I found it highly interesting and worthwhile. Great class!

I don't understand you losers who say he's boring! You must be numdskulls who can't pay attention to anything less involved than a circus. He knows SO much and is passionate and kind. And not at all boring.

Great Professor, loves Art History, knows what he's talking about. May have a lot of lectures but how else do you learn about Art History? Smart, Interesting, All around good guy. For everyone who says his class is boring, you obviously aren't prepared for real college courses. You're here to learn, not to have fun.

Great prof who knows his stuff and is passionate about it. It's not going to be an easy ride, but why are you at college if not to be challenged?

I went into this class wanting to be an art history major and came out never wanting to look at a piece of art again. I'm sorry but Myers doesn't seem to care about his students, and hes INCREDIBLY boring. Take art history 2 with lynnea wren instead. myers should be avoided if at all possible.

Terrible professor, avoid if possible. Not helpful at all if you have any questions or need help. Definetly in the wrong profession; he shouldn't be teaching.

PLEASE don't take this class. Myers is very intelligent/passionate bout what he teaches but not in enjoyable way- he drones on about the most trivial details until u r completely tuned out. Look at slides while he rambles every single day. Horribly boring despite my high interest in art history. Only allowed to miss 3 days, so that much more awful

The class is extraordinarily boring. all you do is look at slides and listen to his lectures. occasionally TAs will come in and you might get out early. the tests take a lot of time to study for, you have to memorize 90 works of art and the test is mostly essay. avoid this class if you can.

He is a sweet dude, but his lectures struggle mightily. Very monotonous, talks through slides like an old man describing the details of his hair loss.

Oh man. this man sucks. His lectures are boring, he may be smart, but he doesn't show it, and he accuses people of cheating when they don't. Too preoccupied with the Hillstrom Museum. Watch out.
