Comment:
Dr. Macleod was an amazing professor for FYS 112, but it was important to make sure that you contributed to class discussions. There were three papers and one presentation that you have to complete, and you have a partner for the presentation! His final isn't worth a huge percent, but it was hard. Overall, I did not find his class too difficult.

He is my favorite professor at the University of Evansville. Do your reading and be ready to discuss it in class, but fret not, it is not that difficult!

Dr. MacLeod is the reason I decided to be a History major. His courses are fascinating! I had never learned hands on history - not just names and dates and regurgitation. We studied art, poetry, literature, war memorials, photography of the time and so much more. And watching his mind work itself out on the chalkboard is fascinating!

Very like-able person--- and really has a non-traditional engaging approach to class. However, he is also very ideological, and students who have a different ideology than him have to work harder for a normal grade.

Dr. MacLeod is an amazing professor, I wish I could take more classes with him. He expects class participation but makes it easy to speak up because he is such a great facilitator. Had to study for tests but they were not unreasonable if you paid attention and took notes each class.

I had Dr. MacLeod for two classes, one at Harlaxton and then one when he came to UE. The guy is as sharp as they come, great at leading classroom conversations and keeping them on topic. His sense of humor is strong, but he will make you work (that is the point of being there, after all). He can be demanding on papers, but he rewards hard work with high marks. He was, by far, the most popular professor among the student body during my college tenure.
