He is very respectful and is an amazing speaker himself, but I wish he talked less about current events and more about how to become a stronger public speaker, especially for introverted people who may struggle with it. You have to be careful with topics you want b/c it has to strictly run through him and have to be relevant to the world. (honors)

Satish is a gem. His class should be required for all decent human beings to take. He's excellent and also a really easy grader. I know people who barely showed up to class and still got As. You'll get out of this class what you put into it.

Professor Kolluri is BRILLIANT. This course was absolutely eye opening. A majority of the class (non speech days) is spent just having super intellectual discussion on current events and learning about civic engagement. Satish is so inspirational. TAKE THIS CLASS YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T.

This class is based on just a few speeches, but you'll get much more out of it than that! Be prepared to discuss the recent news, it's always discussed in class. Before this class, I'd never read and cared about the news like I do now! As long as you show up for the speeches and participate in discussion, you're golden.

Satish is such an incredible man, and a true treasure in the classroom. His take on the world is so inspiring, and he loves to share that with his students. Public Speaking was only 3 speeches, all of which he encourages students through. Between speeches, his class discusses current events and world issues, and it's really eye-opening!

He not only molds you into being a better public speaker, but inspired you to take an interest in the world around you and participate. He requires that you stay up to date on the news and what's going on in the world. But other than that, if you show up and do your FOUR speeches, you'll be fine. Kolluri is the best.

Awesome person and awesome professor. One of my favorite classes I've ever taken. Him and Mr. Lee are an awesome match to teach this class! Both different personalities from different cultures. Super interesting.

Dread public speaking? Take this class. Only three speeches: introductory, informative, and persuasive. Only took informative and persuasive speeches seriously, grade-wise. He allows you to read off the paper, as long as you read slowly and make lots of eye contact. Lectures are super interesting and about relevant topics. Take him!

Assignments are overwhelming for an honors student. I didn't improve in the subject area at all. I feel that the students were not comfortable speaking.

As a business major, I completely dreaded taking this course. However, Satish's course easily became my favorite course I've taken at Pace. The class discussions Satish initiates are incredibly interesting. Prepare hard for your speech and you will succeed in his class. Great professor overall.

One of the best professors at Pace hands down. Had him multiple times and every time I got an A. The class itself is easy if you show up and do the work (which is minimal) He really knows what he is talking about and makes class interesting and fun. I recommend taking him if you have the chance!

Fantastic teacher! I've had him 3 times! This year I've had him for Media, Culture and Society. He's smart, funny and makes class a lot of fun because we are able to have class discussions and interact with one another. He's also a very good and fair grader.

Had him for Media, Culture, and Society. Usually he solely assigns a few essays (that he grades nicely) but our class was big so he used quizzes (which weren't easy). I recommend Satish for smaller classes. Regardless, he is very caring and helpful if you seek him out. Seems like he wants you to succeed and he gives a lot of life advice daily.

HahaHa...I just had to post because the previous poster said that he read from the textbook a lot. I don't think that's possible since he never ever brings a text book to class...and I've taken many courses with him.

What a terrible professor. I took him for Media, Culture, and Society last year and he managed to make the class boring and useless. He read from the textbook and then just let the class go wild. It was such a waste of time.
