Comment:
I have been through all of his classes from CIS 120 through the entire network curriculum up to CIS 293. I am now a systems admin and I can honestly say that although I took his classes and passed all of them with good grades I learned little to nothing. Plan to learn everything you need to know on your own. If you are looking to learn dont bother

Greg is a great teacher. His lectures are long, but very interesting. He is very caring and will go the extra mile to make sure the students know what he is talking about. You have to go to him for help, otherwise don't expect him to be a mind reader. I've taken 3 classes with him and will be taking more.

Comment:
Miller was a really nice guy. He is obviously a higher level CIS teacher, so I was confused why he was teaching such a basic class. I feel that this hindered his ability to teach such novices. I can completely agree with: "Lectures don't relate to test. just stay home and read the book to prepare." His lectures very rarely pertain to testing.

Yeah, its a hard class. But Greg tries to make sure you know the stuff. If you dont know it, it's not his fault, but yours. Not everyone opened up in our class, so makes for a one way street during lectures, also not his fault. All in all I enjoyed the experience and learned some stuff!

Comment:
I had him for 120, 210, and 143. Very boring teacher, his lectures are like very hard to sit through and actually get info from. He is late to class alot (5-10 mins usually) His tests can be stupid hard. He expects you to know every single tiny detail studied. I also find his classes to be very awkward feeling for some reason. Not recommended.

Comment:
His teaching style is a bit quirky, maybe cause he is an IT guy. Quizzes and Tests are based off lectures, and text pointed out of the book. If you have no intentions of going into an IT profession, then do not take his 120A class. Information that is expected of you, will just be over your head.

One of the worst teaching experiences of my life, from one of the nicest teachers that I have come across. The tests are riddles, and he thinks its funny. I got the highest grade in the class, an A-.

I have a 3.4 GPA and never have dropped a class in my life. This is the first class I have ever considered dropping. No sympothy if you are sick, his labs really don't have anything to do with the test, and his lectures are boring. I would not recommend him.
