Professor Odle has been the most lenient professor I've had at Cortland. I was missing 2 tests for the class and she was very forgiving and nice about it. She really cares about her students and really shows that she wants them to do well in her class. Definitely the best professor I've had.

Professor Odle is one of the sweetest professors you'll ever have. I don't know how she is when teaching in person but she made class optional as an online instructor and encouraged group work for her weekly chapter quizzes. The class contains interesting material and she answers emails quickly when you need any help. Very sweet and caring teacher.

I loved Professor Odle. She is so happy and passionate every single class. Attendance isn't really mandatory, but I recommend going anyway. She's a real sweetheart.

Attendance isn't mandatory, you have a test and journal once a week which come from the textbook and her powerpoints. Not too hard but some of the test questions are trick questions

took her for online psy 101 this past winter she was great in the sense that she tried to focus on your learning instead of class structure. 15 chapters 15 journals 15 exams in 13 days. that's a lot... but its also a hard class with a lot to it. She was a lenient grader and the tests were based on the notes that she gave to us

Odle was outstanding. Her stories were inspiring and she brought the content to life. One of the most interesting courses I've ever had. Anyone that says that course is difficult needs to grow up - do the work and you'll be fine.

I took this as an online summer course. I was nervous to take this class after reading the syllabus but it was really more of a guide. She's very flexible and caring. Just make sure to do the readings/ read the handouts (esp marek) and follow all of her instructions. She lays out everything you need to do well, you just have to do it

Super nice professor. I took the hybrid child psych class with her but didn't go to one lecture class since the first day. She just reviews the powerpoints that are already posted online. It didn't effect my grade not going, I think she was just there to help if you didn't understand something. Highly recommend.

People ragged on her so much, I was nervous to take her class. She cares about not only your learning the material, but you as a person as well. You will learn a lot in this class, and unlike other classes I've had, you apply this material to your daily life so you don't forget anything. Keep an organized notebook and tests are no problem.

Everyone complains about this class but if you put in the work (reading the chapters, taking notes on the chapters, showing up to lectures I found typing up all my notes during lecture was really helpful it is doable. Yes, the quizzes are harder than the test but it's good test prep and you have 99 tries to get a better grade. She's also sweet :)

She won't bother to show up to class and won't let you know she won't be there. If you need any of her classes to graduate, take them somewhere else. She shouldn't be teaching.

Dr. Odle definitely knows what she's talking about with the material but she gets off topic super easily. I am taking the HYBRID course and she literally cancels class every week even though its only on MW. Tests are all online and just have to write a short journal entry for each chapter. Basically teaching yourself through reading the textbook.

Her lectures consists of stories of her life and when she was in school. Goes extremely fast and is hard to follow. The notes are very long and tests are on 2-3 chapters at a time. Quizzes are harder than the test and there's one for every chapter. Labs every week and they're online and sometimes can be very hard.

Everyone complains about this class but I thought it was fine. The tests are only hard if you don't study and I really enjoy her lectures. There are online quizzes every other week but you can take them as many times as you want to improve your grade. This class is really not that bad.

For an introductory class that A LOT of majors require, this cousre was made way to difficult. She made extra credit sound like it was 5 points added to your test average but failed to mention it was added to the total, not the overall average. Cost me an A in the class for this. AVOID HER IF POSSIBLE even though she is the only one teaching this

This intro to psychology class is kind of tough, but if you read the textbook and listen to her lectures, it is not that hard. You have to try for this class and not slack off. There are online quizzes and you can retry them as much as you want for a higher grade. Don't come to this class expecting too breeze right on through it.

Im a senior and never even fell below a B but this 101 class is the hardest class ive taken and the rediculous tests are 80% of your grade. The amount of content youre expected to know as a non- psych major is absolutely rediculous! Its a science, history, and psychology class. Way too much content for the level of the class. Take it somewhere else

She is a really nice teacher and does her best to help its just a hard class in general i don't blame her she tries her best ti really explain it but its just tough material the one thing that helped me do well is reading the text book, doing well in late, and her extra credit. She will also drop your lowest test grade if you attend all lectures.
