I absolutely adored having Borich as my online media professor, he cares about each and every student and genuinely wants them to succeed. He made me feel more comfortable than any of my seated professors have. His class is very straight forward and he goes above and beyond when it comes to powerpoint, explanations and even offering feedback.

Borich is a great instructor to take in the media department. I took him for MED 304 and MED 120 and both classes were enjoyable and not too difficult. A good bulk of the classes are writing papers about different topics each week and watching videos about media. It's pretty easy if you keep up each week and you'll learn something new about media.

I took MED120 with Michael Borich. I probably spent about 2-3 hours a week working on this online class. Assignments for the week were due on Sundays at Midnight and it was easy to fit it in during your busy week whenever it's good for you. He gives great feedback for each assignment, and most of the assignments are just personal opinions.

Professor Borich was a pretty good teacher. I took his Media Theory online class and his powerpoint presentations were informative and easily understandable. However, he's a nit-picky grader and always takes off points for something on assignments. Also, make sure you pay attention to due dates because he doesn't put any in the syllabus.

I enjoyed his class. Unlike most media classes at MSU, Skipper actually makes you apply media theories to real world situations. He tends to consistently take points off for the smallest of things just so he doesn't give you a perfect score. He's really flexible with deadlines and it's pretty easy to get an A. You will actually learn something.

Great teacher! If you go to class & listen to the lectures you will pass. You have a quiz every week but if you go over the power points and listen then you will have no problem passing. He grades every assignment that day & if you ever need him he is very easy to get into contact with. Nothing but kind words for Mr. Borich!

My 1st media class EVER. Instructor didn't explain things well & assumed we had a prior history of media study & I had non whatsoever. Syllabus says quizzes will come from textbook but questions show up from videos or something entirely unrelated. I got nothing out of the late nights I stayed up studying for this class except for a bad grade.

Mr. Borich is a really good teacher. His class is easy to follow. He provides access to all material for review and covers all the test material in his weekly quizzes. After the quiz he always emails the answers after posting the scores so studying for his exams is easy because you know exactly what to review. If you show up to class no worries.

Such a boring class. Almost painful to sit through but attendance is mandatory. Your grade is based on the quizzes every week and two tests so be prepared to study hard. His PowerPoints were so hard to understand so if you just rely on looking at them online you will be extremely confused. Must go to class. Just drink a lot of coffee.

Dr. Borich is truly a great teacher. He takes the time to give lots of examples of each theory and how it specifically effected society as a whole.

This class is decieving! There is a quiz every friday over the chapter, so it's easy to not go to class on Monday and Wednesday and just go take the quiz on friday. But attendence is graded. I would have gotten an A if not for my poor attendence, even though I did really well in the academic part of the class.

This class is extremely dull. There is a quiz every Friday over the week's material, and most of the time, you will get partial credit even if you don't fully understand a concept. There are only two tests: the final and the midterm. And one research paper at the end of the semester, which isn't explained very well. Go to class, if only for points.

Fantastic teacher. I learned so much from this class. He made retention so easy. He knows his material and you will too after this class. Studying for his weekly quizzes is time consuming and gets kind of old but he grades fairly easy. You will take a lot from this professor.

Borich is a great teacher - very smart, but doesn't allow for too much discussion in most classes. A lot of emphasis on the readings, but if you can get your head around what he's saying the course is simple.

If you pay attention and read the chapters, you should be okay. Lots of short answer questions on the quizzes/tests, but if you know your stuff and show up to class, you'll do alright.

He is an eazy teacher. If you read your speech off your note card you will still get a B. Take the night class because you always get out early! Easy class to get an A in.

Mr. Borich tries, but he seems to not have a lot of interest in the subject. He seems a little burnt out. IF you can the main idea into papers and essays then you can at least get a B. He grades very easy on presentations. Make sure you go to class, because he does deduct points if you don't.

I would never take this guy again! Our final is 5 comprehensive essay questions, 20pts. each about material we virtually never discussed in class! If you want an A, don't even think about taking him because when he grades your papers but doesn't find anything wrong, he will still give you a B.
