One of the toughest but also the best profs I've had at Kettering. Her door are were always open and she was always willing to give advise provided you are willing to ask. Her quizzes are tough but well doable, just study for it.

One of my favorite professors. She has a good personality as well as a good teaching style. I had her for Circuits I and she explained everything clearly and was always willing to help.

She is one of the best teachers I've had so far at Kettering. She has an entertaining sense of humor and has great rapport with students. Always willing to help if you ask and is clear when it comes to explaining new concepts.

She is a great teacher but a bad tester. She expects way too much on her quizzes and tests. Grading scale is rough too.

You'd expect a prof that graduated GMI and then went to MIT to be tough. You'd be right. Her circuits tests are pretty tough, you need a 96+ to get an A, and she doesn't give extra credit. But man, do you know circuits when you're done.

She will be very clear about what she wants and what she does not want. If you do not follow those instructions, she will mark you off heavily for it. Make sure to always ask what form she wants her answers, and in this class lab reports, so that you are always doing as you're told. Study normally and you will do fine. (A 91 is still a B+ though!)

Excellent and exceptional teacher, however if you want to pass this class with a B or above be prepared to work! Work! Work! And understand. This processor laughed when we did not have enough time to complete the midterm and no one finished. A B is an 88 or 89 I think

She's an all around good prof! She has a sense of humor and is very energetic, even at 8 am! The homework was much harder than the tests. The tests were very fair in regards to the content, challenging, but not impossible. I would definitely recommend this proff if you are looking to learn circuits!

You will rock at circuits after you are done, but your grade will not reflect it. She likes to prove she is smarter than you by bending you over hard on her tests. Test problems are easily 4 times harder than typical homework problems, so there is no real way to prepare. Her grading scale is equally unfair. Last time I checked, an 84% was NOT a C+.

She no longer collects weekly homework but instead gives weekly quizzes. As long as you understand the concept from doing a few of the homework problems, the quizzes are easy, plus she dropped the lowest 2. Very helpful and available for office hours. I definitely recommend taking Palmer.

First time I have ever had her and she was not as bad as I have heard or expected but it should be known that you will often feel you know the material pretty well only to get back poor grades.

She can be very helpful and she tries to help you but sometimes it seems like the book is a better resource. Equations are derived and you're not too sure what they mean. By the end of the class I could use the equations for the situations they were needed for but I wasn't sure why they worked or what exactly I was doing. Do the homework!

Comm Sys with Palmer... Summer 2006 = not good. I love Palmer, I think she's a great teacher. But she just wasn't prepared to teach this class. She gave A LOT of homework, and tests were not representative of the material learned in class. I'm sure next time she teaches it, it'll be better. :)

The class is not that difficult if you keep up with the notes and homework from time to time. Don't fall behind and don't miss a lot of classes, or you will regret it.

I had her for her first term teaching this class, so hopefully she gets better, because it seemed like the material was hard for her. It seemed like there were several problems she couldn't solve each week. If you're smarter than the average Kettering student, you'll be fine.

In all her classes you have to do a TON of hw that's due. But she's very straight forward. A very hard teacher.
