Only I didn't like was common hour exams- but my class was right before it so he basically gave us the expected problems. I honestly didn't study much and got a B.

Very helpful and understandable, if you aren't a redneck. Ask him questions and he will walk you through the lab with clear instructions. Relates concepts to real life applications. Cares for the students.

Lectures can be unclear at times, though he's always willing to help during office hours. Lab was cake. But he has a HEINOUS grading scale (83=C+) which he only informs you of /after/ the withdrawal deadline.

Had him for lab and lecture. Very difficult to understand and his lectures did not help me at all. Had to come up with your own equations. I studied very hard and ended up with a B- and that is after he curved the final grades like crazy because he was failing everyone. He didnt enter 2 of my lab grades and he only fixed one of them. AVOID

Tests are very difficult unless you study. Prof Vaishnava does a great job taking hard physics topics and breaking them down to be easier to understand. Go to class, actually do the hw and youll do fine.

If you can pass his tests, then you can pass the final exam. Good luck on passing his tests without pretty good studying though. There may be questions on most of his tests that there isn't an equation for on the equation sheet so you have to memorize as many as possible.

He is a prof who knows his stuff but has a very difficult time teaching. I do not suggest him but he is managable to pass, if you do have him i stggest study hard unless you know the material really well. Also ask him is things are required or an assigment from extra credit.

Difficult to understand at first, but turned out to be a pretty good prof. He likes it when you ask questions and show interest in learning. Like any class, do the work and you'll do well. Very understanding when things come up and you have to turn in an assignment late.

Prem was an okay professor overall. His tests were medium-hard but if you felt he graded unfairly all you need to do is give the test back to him and you are almost for sure getting more points. No curve for our class tho. we lost a few kids by week 6

Vaishnava was a poor professor. He was unorganized, didn't know when his own assignments were due or test dates. He's an inconsistent grader, and the "final project" was a joke. Avoid.

Dr. Vaishnava's class was hard at first. His Accent take a few days to get used too. My only issue with him was when you asked a specific question he would make you put your pencil down while he was answering it.

Really good guy. Curves well, doesn't expect you to learn an insane amount of material in depth. Always held review sessions before tests. Easy to understand. Questions are straightforward and not too conceptual. Way, Way better than Russell.

Ok I had him for Chem I and I thought he was pretty good but not for Chem II. He teaches the material very well but his tests do not reflect any of that... it doesn't matter how much you learned about chem you will still get a bad grade... I would hold off taking his class this he learns how to make chem II tests. tests are not suppose to try and t

Dr. Vaishnava is one of the best professors I've had at Kettering. He is very personable, and goes out of his way to help students. Lab reports are graded very reasonably, there are opportunities for extra credit, and if you have basic understanding of the material you will do very well on the tests. Do the homework, and ask lots of questions.

Horrible professor. Very hard to understand. Believes we are all at the graduate level, at least. Our substitute (a Phys professor w/ PhD) was unable to complete the quiz he handed out, but yet we were expected to. Most will fail.
