Comment:
His grading is very unfair. You might have the same mistakes as others but would get a different score depends on how much he likes. Class is not hard, but do not expect you would actually learn off studying his hw and lectures. He is top 2 one of the worst professors in mylife. You dont learn anything out of his class and very biased for grading.

I love this guy. My favorite professor at Kettering. I have had him for Circuits II, DT Signals and CT Signals and I got A's in all 3. Put it a little bit of effort more than a day in advance and you will be fine.

Comment:
The biggest problem I had with Warrier is that he is too fast with his lectures. Even when you tell him to slow down, 10 minutes later he is back at his normal pace. He sometimes goes so fast when doing examples on the board, that he makes a stupid mathematical error. Overall he is a nice guy, his lectures are just too fast and unorganized.

He makes a ton of mistakes in examples. This can make it difficult to learn the material. Even his solutions to homework problems and parts of his notes posted online have mistakes. The only thing he really does well is make tests. Tests are usually fairly easy with no surprises, assuming you were able to teach yourself enough of the material.

If you had a question he would definitely try to explain it, after class, office hours, during class, whenever was fine with him. Made mistakes in examples which screwed me up a bit. Had to go off and look up some things myself but otherwise no problems. Annoyed if you don't show up.

Absolutely horrible at communicating material. Constantly makes mistakes and teaches in the order of A C F D E B. Jumps around a lot and is hard to follow. The notes he provides online make far more sense than he does, and reading those will at least give you a chance of passing. Good luck not falling asleep in class.

Sometimes hard to follow but very lenient grader thus far. Tests/quizzes are directly from notes and in-class activities

Have him for circuits at UM-Flint. Terrible professor. Dry, boring, hard to understand. At least one main example in each class period is done wrong. We have to correct him all the time. Overall, I'll try my hardest to never have him as a prof again.

Pretty blah prof. Nice guy, you can tell he's really smart, but his lectures are super dry and hard to follow. He seems to think just randomly doing problems on the board will lead to learning for students. It mostly leads to nodding off and confusion. Better off to bring a textbook on the material he's teaching and read through it during the hour

Excellent Professor for Commsys. Got a better grade and more information than I ever could have with Melton. He is exceptionally clear and interesting, with exception to the prob-stats review, which is only a few days and makes you want to shoot yourself its so boring. The rest is really good though.

The most useless professor i've ever had. He doesn't know what he is talking about. He is useless to go to for help and will just tell you your stupid.

Warrier is not the worst professor I've had here, but he certainly isn't the best. He's very dry, and his teaching style is hard to follow. He really knows his stuff, but seems to have trouble getting it across. Often makes mistakes on examples. If you can avoid him, do it, as there are certainly better EE profs.

Don't take him for Circuits I. Very harsh grading, and very manic teaching style. I have heard that he is better for higher level courses.

People gave him a hard time but he did a pretty good job teaching the material. His exams were pretty easy and his lectures do a reasonable job of presenting what you need to know. There are worst profs out there so don't hesitate to take his class.

His teaching style is like some one dropped the nots and he pics them up as he goes. He is a great guy and his teaching style is not too bad. Keeps you awake. Knows his stuff very well. His English can cause some problems.

Helpful, easy going professor. Will give you a manageable workload and excellent notes. Don't expect too much clarification outside of class though, it's in the notes.

if you dont understand the material when he teaches it to you, he cannot explain it in a way for you to understand. had to go to a different proffesor for help in his class. tests and quizes are not that difficult
