Ed takes a real interest in you as an individual and gives personal feedback. His perspectives are very in touch and unique. If you do the work you can easily pass and probably get an A. He wants you to succeed and if you work with him he'll make sure you do.

Authenticity class. Very interesting topic and Dr. Sanchez is well spoken, funny, and understanding. Good person to know in the honors college and very invested in the students. Grading is a little difficult, not necessarily on time, and be sure to do the reading (well, most of the time). Hard, sometimes a bit lofty, but I'm glad I took the class.

Comment:
Took Authenticity with him a few semesters back. Assigned lots of reading that might have been interesting for PHIL majors, but was at times too dense for me to find interest in. Comments and responses are sometimes harsh (in the classroom and in his administrative capacity with the Honors college.) Nice guy otherwise, just too much for an elective

I didn't go to class on Fridays ever and I still ended up with an A in the class. He really facilitates free discussion and wants you to get something out of the class. He doesn't grade the papers too harshly, and gives you plenty of opportunities to raise your grade. I would recommend his class to everyone.

Political philosophy class. If you read the books/articles and write the papers, you will do fine. He makes the material a lot less difficult that Rawls seems to be. Also a good source of knowledge about the honors college. This was a discussion-based class with like 1/4 lecture and 3/4 discussion.

Do not take this course unless you are EXCELLENT at writing philosophy papers. I have always been really good at writing English and History papers, but apparently I'm not so good at philosophy. There is also a lot of reading. He's an interesting guy but I just absolutely hated the course.

Authenticity class. You have to read everything he expects you to read or he knows. Lectures are a boring (with a few exceptions) but not unbearable. Have to write a lot of papers. A lot of papers. WILL NOT give you an A unless you're pretty much a philosophy buff like him.

You have to read, he catches you on the papers if you don't...I'm usually good at faking it if I didn't read and he caught me more than once. Really nice, good at bringing subject matter down to earth and making it practical--still definitely a philosopher though

The reading in this class is really hard, or at least for me being a science student and unaccustomed to reading logical arguements. The content is somewhat interesting, but the class is lacking in real discussion.

If you are good at writing papers( real good), loves to read every other night than take this class. Took quizzes every class so that meant you had to read probably about 43 pages combining 2 or 2 authors. You have a certain amount of points to earn to get a good grade>.QUIZZES, PAPERS AND THE EXAMS.

This class is pretty freaking easy for the most part. He's a decent teacher and makes fair tests. You don't have to go to class if you understand, he doesn't take attendence so I only went to half the classes, got an A on all the tests and didn't have to take the final because I had an A.

Be prepared to do some work...Dr.Munn is a nice and interesting man, it really just depends on your TA as far as grading goes, so make sure you get one that's fair.

Dr. Munn's class was by far the most interesting Phil/Math course I have ever taken in my life. The books he uses are sometimes a little confusing, but listening in class and the frequent group work always seems to clear things up. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to give Logic a try!
