I don't know why everyone is so hard on this teacher, I didn't mind him. I'm not the best at math and got a 4.0 easily. He explained the concepts so they were easy to understand, and gave many opportunities for bonus points. He also told everything that would be on the test and gave practice tests. If you pay attention and take notes, it's fine.

Smith has been the hardest instructor I have ever had. He is not likable in the beginning, but as students drop, and many will, he is friendlier and is more eager to offer help. He really helped me out by changing his grading scale mid semester, which is sort of BS, but it helped me pass. Joe will really push you to your full potential.

Do not take this professor. I love math and he does not teach it. He reads out of the book. He assigns work and goes over it the next class. Basically you have to teach yourself at home before you come to class.

He is a very good instructor. At first, many will not like him. Stay the course. Once students drop, he opens up more and becomes very helpful. Do your homework. Be there and on time. Study. His class is what you make it. By far, the best instructor I have ever had.

At first I hated this instructor-but this serves a purpose. He is the finest mathematics instructor I have ever had-cares a great deal about his students and is willing(if you meet in his office hours)to help you with any problem. By the time you are done with his course, many things will become clear.

He is the worst teacher I ever had. He doesnt make you understand and he makes you feel dumb if you ask a question. He moves way too fast and doesnt explain himself. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to pass this class if you arent a genius. He is for advanced students only. He is not helpful at all and he sucks as a person. The meanest guy ever.

He goes wayyyy too fast. So if you aren't amazing at math don't expect anything out of this class. Take someone easier and that wants to help you. He yelled at me because he thought I was sleeping but I was just looking down at my book. Made me feel like an idiot.

Took this class many years ago. To get a good grade, you must attend class, do your homework, and be repectful. Is this too much to ask? This is college, not high school. Dont yawn in his face or act disinterested. He will pick up on it. He is in his office a lot. I found that if you catch him in his office and are polite to him, he WILL help you!

Mr. Smith is unpredictable like a bag of skittles. But he waits till so many students have dropped out of the class before he feel he really wants to help. Then he offers bonuses and other options so he does try. He just teach to fast and say you should of learned this from Grade School. Only take him If you are a ver;y determined student.

Joe Smith maybe one of the worst professors ever. If your teaching a math class shouldn't you teach and ask your class if they have questions instead of rushing. He doesn't teach you he shows you and it doesn't help. To help you when you are stuck he will tell you to take a lower class or a get a tutor. Their paying you to teach, so teach.

This class is incredibly boring, like any typical math class, however, this teacher is also quite a smart a**. He basically reads right out of the book, then picks on you if you don't seem interested, as if it were possible to stay interested.

worst teacher I have ever taken! Our class started out with about 30 students and in the end there might have been 4. I hated it! I missed two classes, 1 for a funeral and the other I was in the hospital. And that made it so I couldnt pass. Do not take him!

Mr. Smith is a very organized and prepared man. He does assign quite a bit of homework, but he makes sure that you understand it. One thing that irritated me a little bit is the fact that if you ask a question sometimes he makes you feel like a complete idiot. I mean that's why were here is to learn, we ask questions. Other than that he is decent.

I took him a qhile ago but I remember him as being very demanding. Not in a bad way. I know if you were absent more than a couple times he would lower your grade by a letter. I always asked questions and never felt he ripped on me, rather answered them thoughtfully. He even praised me for some of my questions.

Comment:
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS if you want an easy A. If you come to class everyday, do the homework, study 2 hours outside of class per hour, you will most likely get a 2.5. If you have very mistake free skills you will do well. He is arogent however and feels he is better than you. He is a good teacher but gives impossible to ace exams.
