Peter Rodman introduced me to a love of life I would not have had otherwise. I stayed with him through all his upper division classes and had an unbelievable and awesome experience the whole time. Just can't praise this guy enough.

Rodman is awesome! He brings so much energy and knowledge to a class that could otherwise be overwhelming and dry. He is incredibly well prepared and organized. Provides so much info for students and really went the extra mile! Incorporated his field work, which was cool, and even made monkey noises! Very cool guy!

Professor Rodman is really great! He has so much energy and passion towards his field that it is just fun to be around him when he talks about anthropology. The first half of the course itself can be pretty confusing, but having it with Rodman makes it worth it.

You can tell from all the other comments that two types of people take this course: lazy, stupid kids who think college is all about partying and having a good time, and intelligent, curious people who want to learn. Rodman is hard, his class is a lot of work, but anybody in college for the right reasons would be lucky to take a class from him.

Anthro 1 (or any 1 class) shouldn't be this hard. The tests were outrageous and the assignments were more appropriate to a 100 level class, not lower div. You should probably take Anthro 1 with someone else if you can.

Can't believe all the praises this guy got just because their TA's asked us to give him some good feedback because he was retiring. His class was hard, I guess he thought that we only had to study for his class, because all the reading and those stupid essays. Don't mean to be an ass but he isn't such a great teacher as others say he is.

Prof. Rodman has to cover a wide breadth of material and does a good job of it. His lecture slides and outlines prepared before each class really help us students direct our attention to the important and relevant subjects during lectures. He genuinely cares about the students' knowledge about anthropology and will gladly accept all questions.

Professor Rodman is very kind and really knows his stuff. He's very enthusiastic about anthropology. The midterm is difficult, but he is willing to help you and give you options to improve in the class. Although the class is somewhat hard, if you work hard you will do well, and he and the TAs grade fairly.

professor rodman's class is really challenging, but if you put the work into it, it is really rewarding. he is a very sweet man and is willing to help his students out whenever they need it. and he rewards students for improvement, so he's not out to get his students and give them bad grades. he's a great teacher and it sucks that he is retireing.

This professor really knows what he is talking about and makes an effort to have his students know it as well. While his midterm exam may be difficult, it truly tests the depth of knowledge of the subject matter. It's too bad he's retiring!

He was an awsome teacher! Never made anyone feel stupid when they asked dumb questions. He is in my top 5 best teachers. He is a genuine person and promotes that everyone in the world should be treated with repect and kindness without judging them based on thier color of skin, culture, sex and ect. He was just awsome it is a shame he is retiring.

Probably one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. Admittedly I only took the class for a GE, but now that it is nearly over I find myself extremely interested in the subject thanks to this man. While some profs will stand up and just talk at you for an hour or more, Rodman is actually making a sincere effort to teach you.
