Attended his online class. Everything was straightforward. Make sure you read all the assigned books. For the exams, literally the answers are found in his power-points and occasional recorded lectures.

I took HIST 2301 with Professor Mcbee this semester and he was amazing! He was always quick with answering emails if I had questions, and he would always highlight the information what would be on exams in his lectures. The "worst part" about this class was the tough grading on essays, but they were still very passable.

Professor McBee was the best professor I've had by far. The class is reliant on lectures and reading mandatory books assigned but their very interesting if you just take the time to do the work. Easy A+ for me in that class. Plus he is incredibly intelligent and willing to help you if you reach out. Best class I've taken at TTU.

Attendance is not required but very important. Show up and take notes and you'll do fine. hes nice and respectful. If you pay attention in class you'll find he is very liberal. For example one of the essay questions on the final was, "how did conservative fiscal policy in the 80s and 90s contribute to the economic downturn of the US" nice guy tho

if you miss class you miss a lot of content. He doesn't provide his powepoints, you need to take notes of the class. His tests are really hard. It is really hard to get a good grade, you only have 3 midterms, 3 quizzes and 1 final. You can only say things that he said in the class on the exam, can't say something that you found on the internet.

He doesnt use any text book for the class. He doesnt use PowerPoints. Instead he writes his notes randomly all over the white board. His lectures dont make sense since you dont have a PowerPoint to follow while he talks

He is a great teacher, but you have to put ALOT of work into this class. His lectures are interesting but you have to write down EVERY little thing he says to make a good grade on tests. I can't stress this enough. He doesnt use PP or textbooks. Also, just read the 4 novels ok. He gives a ton of EC at the end. Take him, but be prepared to work.

Mcbee is honestly one of my all time favorite professors! His lectures are incredible and he makes you want to be in class. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and responds quickly to emails. Go to class!! I can't stress this enough. He doesn't use powerpoint or a textbook. So you have to go to class and take notes if you want to pass.

I absolutely loved McBee. Although you have to pay close attention to his lectures since he doesn't use power points. I had over 50 pages of notes. He really made me enjoy what he was teaching. Read the books assigned, go to class and you will do well.

Multiple choice quizzes over books that are only vaguely related to the class and aren't really tied in to the lectures. Tests are all short answer and essay: Be prepared to lose points for not taking answers in the direction he wants.

His lectures are very interesting & flow in chronological order so the information is easy to follow. I really enjoyed attending every class. Attendance is not mandatory but going everyday will better improve your chances of doing well in the class. Tests are essay based with IDs but if you work with your TA's in review sessions it's an easy A.

The lectures were somewhat boring, but he did not take attendance. The TA that I had graded very harsh and we got the lowest grades out of the class on the first exam. After the first exam, he graded more closely to the other sections. Not my favorite class, but not the worst either.

He was a good teacher, but boring. Get ready to take notes and read. There are 4 books you need to read and all the tests are written (essays and short answer IDs). When studying write all the IDs and essay beforehand and memorize them. The TAs don't grade hard, but put in effort. Some of the books you don't need to read, but know major points.

He made lectures fun and made you want to go to class. Tests aren't difficult if you consult with your TA beforehand on what they are looking for. Book quizzes could be difficult, just make sure you read the books and don't try to wing it (they're actually interesting books, which helps). Attendance not mandatory, but helps. Would take him again.

Professor McBee is very intelligent, passionate and funny. Great lecturer, especially for something as boring as history. Really knows his stuff and is great at explaining all of it. Pretty straight forward as far as tests and all.

Mr. McBee was a great teacher! He likes to crack jokes during the lectures and yes, he lectures. He doesn't have power points but goes at a reasonable pace even for me(and I'm used to power points). The books should be read it really helps but normally they aren't boring! Tests are easy if you take down the prompts he writes on the board.

McBee is the chair of the HIST department at Tech, so he knows his stuff. His lectures are rather boring, but his tests are fine. Super easy compared to others. Also, some days he will just show movies. You will have four novels to read, and each comes with a quiz. Super easy books though. I definitely would take his class again! #EASY-A
