Comment:
Fast paced course. Lectures are long, dull, and unclear. If you have a question youll receive an extremely vague answer that doesnt relieve any confusion. Assigns a group project at the end of the semester with very unclear instructions and wont help with any confusion. He may be the only prof teaching the course so you may be stuck with him

Comment:
Very unclear project. It seemed that he expects you've already known everything before you start the project and gives very limited instructions. I sent emails to him for asking questions but most of his answers didn't really answer my questions. Very fast-paced, it was a class in the fall semester but the pace was like a summer class.

Very unclear expectations and instructions which left one student to ask, "what are you trying to teach us?" Class was godawful, avoid.

His lectures drag on forever. He isn't helpful and expects you to know everything already. Even when I asked questions he explained it in terms where I was even more confused afterwards. He expects a lot out of the group project. Doesn't give time in class for the group project so you have to meet on your own time.

Took this class to finish up my minor in the summer. The class itself is easy, but get ready to spend most of the time zoning out during lectures. Don't get me wrong, what he talks about WILL be on tests and quizzes, but it just drags on. There are a few projects in the computer lab that you have to use the book for. Easy A if you show up.

I took both CIS 4600 and 4990 with Razi. For the 4600 exams, study the assignments, the slides, and look up questions on quizlet. I got a CB. For 4990, every semester the project is different, but just make sure you study the slides and contribute to your team and you should be fine. I learned a lot from his classes.

I was afraid of him aftger looking at the ratings. What garbage. An easy B if you do the minimum. He is cool as hell. U can high 5 him! He jokes around if you pay attention. I learned a lot from his class and he will drop what he is doing to help you in any way he can. If he knows you are trying but still stuggling, he will give you good B

Razi is an okay professor. He expects a lot out of you, and can be somewhat vague with his grading criteria. Gets easily frustrated, so make sure to pay attention so you can follow along with his hands on assignments he gives you. Exams are somewhat difficult, you don't get any study guides, but you do get a cheat sheet.

Easy class espcecially if you have any previous programming experience. If this is your first programming class you may have a little bit of a problem just make sure you go to every class and you'll get it. Don't buy the book you can use his power points to study.

Aweful, he just stands in the front of class and reads powerpoints that are made by other professors. all his hw and tests are frankensteined from test banks so normally the code doesnt work out right. he says he is willing to help but he really just wants to run through his ppt and get out.

Still an awful teacher. Does not seem to care about students at all. Not lenient on anything; he does his broken lectures and if you have a concern too bad. Uses a website for all assignments and states directly that he will not help you when the system is constantly broken. Be prepared to be graded for his failure system then for your own work.

Absolute waste of time and money. He is the worst teacher I had in my time at school. Didn't even give students the time of day. Attended office hours and was told to Google the information he was supposed to be teaching. The material is interesting but hope you feel like teaching it to yourself. Attended every class and left knowing nothing.

If youre not familiar with computer with databases or SQL it might be a little tough but go to class every day take 5 point(10questions) quizes one in a while. hands on - in class exercises are pretty similar to the assignment exercises so make sure u under stand the hands on and you can be outta there with BA or A. very useful for CIS major.

He had a ridiculous foriegn accent and a stutter. He wore little ties that made him look like a ventriloquist's dummy, which made him more distracting (but was pretty funny). His lectures were not at all helpful and exams had questions based off of book information that was never lectured on. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
