Comment:
The poor quality is centered around the material she provides. Lecture notes are blurry and difficult to read. I found myself on multiple occasions trying to read what was written. If possible I would recommend not having her as a professor.

She might have been good in person, but her online lecture videos and notes are a nightmare. What other profs could have covered in 5 minutes, she spends half an hour minimum. Her notes are also all blurry photocopies and her videos are all 360p. Overall, I would not recommend it unless you hate living.

While this prof could have been good for in person lectures, remote lectures are hell. note package is one pdf with poorly photocopied notes and diagrams, so smudged and blurred they give you a headache. Her audio lectures for the term sound like they were recorded from another room and basically just read off the paper, would 100% not recommend

Her sections of tests were straight forward if you study the material in her lectures. Lectures at times could be a little boring but she does a good job of explaining concepts.

She is a very sweet professor. Her lectures are pretty good. However, her grading criteria is really strict. Don't, Don't, Don't choose her term paper topic. I haven't checked her comments here before I chose her topic, while now I believe it. Don't, Don't, Don't choose that.

I really enjoyed Barton's portion of the course (Blood and ANS). Her notes are clear and all of her questions come directly from what was talked about in class. However, I have heard she is an extremely hard marker for the term paper and I would HIGHLY recommend not choosing her topic due to her high expectations. Overall good prof.

I wish I could outsource the note-taking in all of my classes to Dr. Barton. They summarize and organize the material in a manner that is clear and memorable. Her lectures are helpful and include cute analogies and interesting tidbits. People say she's standoffish, but she just seems a little shy. Brilliant professor.

HONESTLY I loved her way of teaching by giving diagrams. Phsyiology is about visualizing the processes not just reading the text or memorizing stuff. If you can visualize it and understand it, you are golden. Dr. Barton's notes are the ones that stuck to my mind till today.

Dr. Barton is such a sweet lady. Her notes are hand-drawn figures - really cute little diagrams. Lectures are pretty boring but her notes are good and she explains things well. I found her exam questions really easy.

Great old-school prof. She taught Endocrinology. So much memorization, and her exam questions were 2nd toughest of all other profs. She probs won't teach anymore after this year, but who knows.

Dr. Barton taught the ANS and Blood portion of PHYSL 212. She's amazing! Quite honestly, she replies to e-mails fasts and is very flexible to arranging meetings. Her notes are best things in existence. Overall, I love her; no other way to put it.

She taught Blood and ANS. Her notes are all diagrams but she explains them VERY well. Exam questions are very easy and straight from the notes. She even gives you choices for questions to pick from for final. Best Phsyl 212 prof. so far!

Barton is great, and so is this course (I thought all of the profs were awesome!). My favorite science class so far. I bought the text, but I did not read it at all for any of the units (and still got an A+). Instead, read the lecture notes over and over - the work load is more manageable this way.

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! Too much information, too little time. Dont bother wasting time on text. Just memorize notes really well. TOO MUCH INFORMATION AND TAKES A LOTTTTT OF TIME! She is so boring, equivalent of Susan Kamp. Her accent is annoying. AVOID THIS CLASS.
