Comment:

I love marketing, but he does not do his job, has poor work ethic. Prof is disorganized and unprepared. He complaints about Pace (the school) onboarding to classes, does not activate the portal for us to submit assignments, we have to email him but then complaints he has too many emails and cant keep track excuse not to grade. Exams were a mess.

This class was a headache! He spends more than 30 minutes trying to figure out how to use Zoom and completely rambles during the lecture. Only graded by the midterm, final exam and group project. He will pester you if you don't have your camera on and makes you use a lockdown browser. He's nice and really tries to get to know you, but never again.

He is a nice guy but you will not learn a thing. He spent the first 30 minutes of every class trying to figure out Zoom. Your entire grade relies on the midterm, final, and two group projects. It is pretty difficult. He requires a camera on and uses lockdown browsers for all tests.

He is a nice person; maybe he is not the best professor. Nevertheless, if you study hard and attend every class, then you would be fine. I got an A, but I had to invest a lot of my time in this class.

Worst professor at pace university. My entire class of of graduating seniors was failing due to his snarky remarks of " reviews do not reflect tests. " Long story short, our class had our class had all of our grades adjusted to B's and C's by the department. DO not take this class.

Talks entire class. Don't buy book, everything is based off of the slide he gives you. Group projects aren't bad, just time consuming. Final project is a business plan; LOTS of work. Two simple HW assignments. Boring to listen to, but study slides and you'll be fine for midterm/final. Show up, study, hands things in one time, easy grade.

Honest to god, one of the worst professors at Pace. You work really hard and the most you'll receive is a B grade. Lectures are long and boring. The reason I had to take him was because there wasn't any other professor for this subject. Pace needs to reconsider having such a professor to teach Graduate Students.

Professor Topol is a very nice man but unfortunately not a very great professor. I have this class once a week for 3 hours and the entire 3 hours consists of him lecturing. He tends to get off topic very easily and does not clearly explain what the tests are going to be like. Tests are very hard: tests cover 6 chapters, each containing 80 slides.

He is such a tough grader, and really makes you work for everything; it's so hard to even get a B. He's not very clear either and lectures are boring. Also, his tests are VERY hard even if you study! Overall, try to avoid.

Don't ever think of taking this professor. Has no clue of what hes talking about. Goes off on tangents. Expects you to read his mind without clear direction. Shoots down project ideas based on his personal and unrealistic market views. School needs to re consider having him be the only person who teaches the required course.

Terrible teacher. Just reads of his power point the whole time and mumbles. Exams don't actually explore students understanding it's more about memorizing and using the right working for each definition. Grading is unfair. Don't take this class.

Be ready to learn everything thing from the book. I think you could record every lecture and listen to it while taking the exams and not one bit of information being tested would be given away. I did best when I ignored the lecture and just read the text being discussed during class. Good luck.

Knows the material very well but isn't skillful in teaching a class. Rambles. Gets off topic too easily. Isn't fair when providing tools needed for testing or quizzing apart from the famous, "read the textbook" line. Doesn't give specific guidelines apart from case studies. Should stay a chairman, but not a professor.

He speaks in a very monotone voice which is fine i don't expect him to be jumping around. But what really got me was he doesn't teach a thinking, you need to read every page of every chapter in that textbook if you want to do good on tests. Aside from all that his assignments make no sense

He is a really nice guy and knows his stuff, but cannot teach. He tends to go on and on about random stuff and doesn't go over the material. He does explain math problems, which will be on the tests. Don't take his class lightly and study as much as you can, especially the first month. If you understand the basics, the rest will be easy.
