One of the worst profs during my 4 year degree... refused to consider the value of other opinions. High and mighty, she had to always know more than the class and strived to make it evident. Try and find a prof that can actually teach you this course, it can be really cool with someone who gives a dam.

Ugh...falling asleep so much. Her ramblings take up too much time, she never seems to get to the point. She doesn't structure her lessons at all really, draws some scrawls on the board and expects us to understand them as a 'diagram'. How can you take notes for this...?

I've really come around on her. Initial fears/perceptions combined with what was on here led me to think she was close-minded, etc. But I don't think this is necessarily so. She does seem to really to be concerned with the truth & being just. She does admit that she is a liberal and she doesn't suppose her personal view(s) to be not evident.

A pompous, ****, tired bully who conflates & force-feeds incongruent Millian and Buddhist ideas to students. I have taken both undergraduate & graduate courses with her, & although she always gives me an A+, I cannot exaggerate how good an example this buffoon is of how NOT to teach philosophy! I would be pleased to see her leave the department.

Interesting material. But she is quite high and mighty about her 'status' and dropping names.. 'Oh when I was talking to this famous philosopher.. oh my book that I wrote.. oh my philosophy meeting'. She forces her own personal beliefs and ethics as if they are the word of GOD. Very biased/unfair at time. Kind of annoying to listen to.

Environmental ethics for fourth graders. She talks to you like you are a moron and will spend 3 lectures on the simplest of things. She experienced "infinity in the eye of a frog." Flakier than Tony the tiger. Will spend 1/2 an hour answering a question and not even answer what you asked.

for a class that was supposed to discus feminist ETHICS as a philisophical stand point there seems to be a lot of man bashing and very little ethical discussion. she is also very high and mighty about her budist ethics. because she "believes everyone is equal" she acts like that makes he better.

super rad. does well @ covering a lot of ground in a short time. her sincere delivery helps a lot(she laughs and smiles). 2804 not much diff. from 1804 but if the topic interests you, she's great to have. encourages criticism/discussion & ALWAYS open to Qs. rewards creativity- paper can be a story!

Bright, interesting, inspiring and beautiful... Her Buddhist feminist perspective has opened my mind to a new way of life. Her lectures are a bit difficult to follow, but what you walk away with makes up for the lack of notes in your book...
