Such a good professor, he brought in a bunch of guest speakers and the work was never too heavy. There are no exams and he makes the class super enjoyable.

Overall easy class for a tech elective. Daily 5 question quiz on the videos you were expected to watch before class. 1 homework due each week (can be lengthy & annoying, but the questions are easy). 1 short individual presentation and one final group presentation. Both easy. No exams. Professor Chajes is a really nice guy who clearly loves his job.

Comment:

Very easy class and pretty informative. It was a 930 but I looked forward to going everyday and Chajes cares. He knows everybody has other things to worry about so he keeps it simple and always has interesting guest speakers (DuPont, Whiting Turner, etc). There's no real engineering required for this class besides algebra but you learn a lot.

Chajes gives great lectures and is very amiable. EGGG101 is easy and most people get an A as long as their group work is decent and they participate in quizzes.

Chajes is awesome. He's hilarious in class and helpful during office hours. The class isn't too challenging if you do the homework problems (which are graded). If you have trouble, just go talk to him about it, he's super nice and approachable.

Very funny, nerdy guy. He has a passion for the class, and keeps it semi-interesting. Study the homework to pass the quizzes, study the homework and quizzes to pass the exams. The book comes in handy for small concepts you didn't understand in class. His grading policy is very flexible. Overall not a painful class. Finished with an A- giving effort

Clear teacher, real smart. Pretty boring, but 10x better teacher than Righman. Is very open to help you. Material was pretty hard in my mind, Homework solutions were a must for me getting a good grade. Tests are OK.
