worst prof ever had tests on ridiculous things. friend of mine who just got into med school in his 3rd year with a 4.0 dropped his class last year after getting fed up with his terrible teaching and testing methods

He knew his stuff, but I didn't really like him. He'll test on some random things he says in class, but other than that mostly everything he tests on is straight from the textbook. A bit arrogant and not very helpful to approach IMO

This teacher knows his stuff! I looked forward to his class everyday because his teaching style is so real, in your face, and humorous. He provides videos to elaborate on content, and spends a bit more time on serial killers than usual, which I found interesting. Make sure you come to class, because he tests on material from it!

Very nice prof, seemed to truly care about his students. To do well you must read and understand the textbook thoroughly. Classes were always interesting as he discussed things not covered in the textbook. Take your own notes and you will learn quite a lot from him. His sense of humour was pretty entertaining.

Tom's pretty good. His lectures are a bit dry and don't cover all the course material, so definitely read the textbook cover to cover. Take your own notes, because he'll test on things he's said only in the lecture. Overall I thought he was nice and pretty easy. Really accommodating when I went to speak with him in person.

He isn't a bad prof. His midterms were very detail oriented-must read the textbook. The ppt notes were vague, but his final wasn't hard

Overall good prof. Most of his questions on the midterms were straight out of the textbook, he tends to test on little details. Attending class is a must. Final had a lot of questions based off things said in lecture. Don't use power point slides, take hand written notes, slides are vague and relatively useless.

He speaks loud and clear but a bit slow. Very nice guy in general. Walks back and forth during lectures. Boosted up class average for a midterm 14%. :)

Not a great instructor. Bad jokes, sometimes rude, and takes most of the questions from the textbook. You don't need to go to class. He isn't awful, but take it with someone else if possible.

If you want to do well know EVERYTHING in the text book. He only covers about 20-30% of the material from the text book during his lectures but the tests cover 100% of the text book. The class has only 400 people in it so it's hard to get to know Tom but overall if you study hard from the text book you will be fine in his class.

It's useless to go to class. He covers about 15% of the overall content in lectures but tests the full 100%. Not too helpful when you have to talk to him one-on-one. Awkward Jokes.

He's really rude and does the bare minimum in class. You'll only cover 2 concepts over a week, but then he tests on all 40 concepts that are covered in the text. Terrible lecturer. He talks really slowly and takes awkward pauses. He talks to you like a four year old.Though the class seems easy, I'd avoid it if you actually want to learn something.

Really nice prof, but not all that interesting. Not super prepared for lectures, or overly enthusiastic. If you need an easy A... Tests are DIRECTLY from the textbook. Literally all you need to do is read. Ppt slides directly from text. He does pop quizzes... total of 5% of mark. Class average on them is 0 though.

Great prof! Shows interesting video clips. His notes are pretty much summary of the the text, so don't wasting money on printing out the notes. You have to go to class tho, because there's pop quizzes (I know!) and things he says in class WILL be in the test. However, if you read the text well enough, his exam should be a breeze.
