Nice woman with interesting material, but the last half of the 20th century was packed into about a week. Felt rushed constantly. Everything graded is either response questions or essays. Also, there's a participation grade. Overall, though, not awful. Just don't take at night- you will fall asleep.

She is a really nice and kind person, along with the TA I had for that class he was really nice. But, HST 203 is hard with her because she makes a 4.0 a 94%. Yeah there's extra credit and yes there is participation as a grade, but 65% is papers. Easy to 3.5 if you do the work and show up, hard to 4.0 though.

As nice as this woman is, she makes it almost impossible to get a 4.0. It's a 94% and above to 4.0 which is insane. She is super nice and passionate about what she teaches but if you hate reading and extensive writing DO NOT take this class.

Not a bad person. You do not have exams, but you have to write papers instead. If you do not go to lectures you will not pass because you need to use lecture material in the papers. Lectures are very long, and if she calls on you to answer a question she will continue to ask for more detail and it gets annoying. Alot of reading too.

The assignments are easy to do and the readings aren't difficult. There are a lot of readings but that's because it is an IAH course. She is a pretty tough grader on the papers but if you understand the lecture and readings, you'll do just fine. She's really nice and helpful, plus you watch interesting movies!

Probably the most unhelpful professor put on this campus. Fermaglich likes the say she has an open door policy and is open to helping students and listening to other's ideas but she will blatently tell you youre interpretation of reading is wrong & will go out of her way to avoid helping you. I would not recommend taking a course by Fermaglich. Y

Best professor I have ever had. I had a death in the family and out of all my professors, she was the most flexible. Course work is easy to understand although there was a lot. She offers extra credit opportunities and goes over all assignments in class. Also does her best to keep text book cost down. All around great teacher.
