In our phys lab we had to write a full detailed lab report with the background and other various information each week, but she graded it pretty easy. She was very clear about what she wanted out of the reports and if you met those requirements you were good. Before each lab she clearly explained what we were doing that day and why. Easy class.

The class is graded mostly on tests but it felt very easy. She taught the class with a lecture and then at the end solved very difficult problems and broke them down. This made the homework feel like a breeze. She made sure that things were clear every step of the way and taught the course very well.

She is a bit tough to understand, but if you pay attention its not like its an actually tough class. What it tough however was Mastering Physics... Terrible, not her fault and she was understanding of that. But it did make the class more confusing. She is very nice and knows her stuff though, just a bit doesn't get communicated well.

Honestly did just not really enjoy this class. Was bored most the time. If you have physics experience and do the homework then the tests are fairly easy. Letures seems too be a waste of time because she doesnt do mch during them. She is a very nice lady though.

and Phys 2 lab. She knows what she is doing, just she sounds like she is scared all the time (really low voice) and she has a thick Indian accent. CRIBS, Mastering Physics, and Study (I'd suggest group study)... That is all. She gives partial credit so even if your stumped, write down similar equation stuff, you might get lucky.

Sometimes is hard to understand. She will try and help if you need help, but most of the time I found she wasn't super helpful. She tried to reiterate the concepts of how to do what we were confused about - but it was the concept we didn't get in the first place.

Terrible. Lectures are boring. She will give you problems to do on the board and no one will know what to do. Seriously you will end up sitting in class waiting for her to solve the problems on the board. Not cribable at all. Will give pract. test the problems are completely different then from the ones on the real test. Do not take!

WORST TEACHER EVER! the book is never only the work book is used but we were required to purchase the txt book and work book combo. Work book totally useless unless for burning. her accent is not too hard to understand however she mispronounces words alot which is really anoying and very hard to concentrate. for example dare-ih-vaytive

PHYS 224 with her is a waste of time. Had a hard time following her lecture, teaching style like a high school teacher who explains every single thing (wo do NOT need to know how you break angle theta into components in PHYS II! We passed calc I already!) teaching based on examples without really focusing on the general concept of physics. too bad

She does a good job teaching what can be a difficult subject. Tests are pretty cribbable, and she does plenty of example problems to help your understanding. If you apply yourself, you can walk away with a solid understanding of the class with this prof.

Good teacher, 'different' tester. Gives multiple choice tests, but wants you to write a sentence or so explaining your thought process, otherwise 0 credit. It isnt hard to do, but my stupid roommate didnt read that instruction and failed the first test :). The tests are semi-cribbable.

Horrible teaching skills. She loves transparencies, which would be fine, except that she has a ton on them and they are pre-prepared, so as you start scrambling to copy down notes, she's alread taken off the transparency. Go to study your notes later, and you'll find that they are pretty useless. Mastering Physics doesn't correlate with class.

Can sometimes be a little hard to understand with her accent. She is nice however she can grade rough at time. Also she does a ton of Mastering Physics, which if you don't do will hurt your grade seriously.
