Basically, Trammell is awesome. He is good at his job and knowledgeable in his field, helpful when you need it, and often quite fun to listen to. The only legitimate complaint I've ever heard against him pertains to the difficulty of his tests. And they are difficult, but not unreasonably so - and he always adds a nice curve to soften the blow :)

Dr. Trammell is great- kind, funny, interesting, a little eccentric, and smart. He is exactly what I thought a professor would be like prior to coming to college! :) One of my favorite moments was when he brought in an elephant ear leaf to show us. (The tests are a little tough, but if you put in the reading/studying time, you can do very well.)

Give this man a hug. Dr. Trammell deserves an award for his unbelievably kind and gracious attitude. Symbolic Logic is a rough course, but Dr. Trammell makes you want to take the course again. Engages the class with fantastic phrases from a simpler time such as "willie nillie" and "ditsy-doodlin'" around. Office is classic.

Symbolic Logic is a difficult course, but Dr. Trammell is an amazing prof. He always makes himself available for help with homework and understanding concepts. His tests are extremely mind boggling, but he generously curves, to make it almost impossible to fail. Kind, helpful, and funny, he embodies the best of college profs.

Got my philosophy minor w/ only Trammell classes. General and Symbolic Logic, and Biomedical Ethics were my favorites. His tests are the hardest at GCC, but he curves to make up for it. Knows his stuff and keeps you engaged. Offers tutoring on Mon. & Wed. Is a very kind man in class and outside of class. His wife is great too!

The material was extremely difficult but Trammell is one of my favorite professors ever. He is extremely kind and I found his classes interesting even though I did not enjoy what we studied. He also knows that the material is difficult and gives you extra points for attending class, homework sessions, doing homework, and by giving on his tests

I've taken several Trammel classes - they are the best. The material he teaches (except intro) is hard, but he makes it as easy as possible. Totally worthwhile. Have you ever asked a professor a question and had him really think hard and give an honest answer? He is a model of humility, thoughtfulness and honesty. Perfect professor and funny too!

SymLog is the best class. Yes, its hard, and yes, his tests make you want to cry. But he is amazingly helpful, and your grade WILL reflect the amount of work you put into it. VERY fair, and VERY cool. He's pretty much the man.

Just a top notch prof. An absolute model of teaching where learning takes place in the classroom and a whole lot is required of students if they expect to understand, do well, and mine the riches of the course. He's got a sweet farm as well! Take his classes early and often

Much Trammel <33333 For the people who don't do well, it's not because he's a bad professor, it's just the nature of the subject. He's very willing to help and curves like crazy (You had to miss 85/100 to fail the last test) He's pretty much rocking.

One of the best professors in the social sciences. Extremely smart and down to earth man. His classes are hard but he offsets it by being more than fair with HUGE curves but you still have to work really hard to get a decent score. Be prepared to study hard or thats they way you will take it
