Definitely do not recommend this professor. He was very condescending and actually laughed at an honest, good student when he asked a true question. He communicated nothing in class. I learned from the TA when possible and from the text book only. He also expects you to know how to use a breadboard for lab. About half the class dropped this course.

Mulders is a very nice guy and extremely personable, however he shouldn't be teaching this subject. He takes no responsibility for F averages on exams, doesn't curve, and doesn't care if you do not succeed. Very condescending when it comes to the subject matter. Would recommend avoiding this prof if possible.

Comment:
Incredibly condescending. Half the class is going to get a D or lower and he claims we need to change our study habits. His lectures are very basic and realistically pointless. Takes no responsibility for poor test and quiz results. Ultimately, you're going to have to teach yourself everything. And I mean everything.

Halfway through the semester and nothing makes sense. If somehow I could magically understand every equation he writes on the board. I Liked physics and 207 was a breeze and got nothing lower than a 98 on an exam. Mulders is the epitome of awful and should be looked at by thy hierarchy at UD! He should be held accountable for what he is not doing!

Worst physics professor I have ever had. Made everything seem as if it appeared out of magic without really explaining where anything came from. Grades 10% of the homework ONLY and gives barely any partial credit. Very annoying take home assignment as part of the final that he offered no help on.. very frustrating. I tried my hardest, not worth it.

Mulders is very kind and very helpful, and his mannerisms are entertaining. However, his exams are difficult and worth a large portion of the final grade. MOST people will not be able to get a decent grade simply by regularly attending lectures. Do the homework (which is graded anyway) and STUDY FOR EXAMS.

Wonderful teacher! Difficult tests, but extremely helpful review sessions/practice exams. Fantastic exposition. Will help you ANY time you need. I would go to his lab where he was working on something FAR more important, and he would always take the time to help. Also, his mannerisms and accent are hilarious. Take his class for a nice challenge.

Great professor. His tests exactly reflect the material presented in class. His lectures are amazing and his door is always open for help. The material can be challenging, but if you're a physics major, it's rewarding.

It's a challenging class, but it isn't impossible. There's a lot of work, and he doesn't give much partial credit, but his explanations are clear and engaging. Overall, a great professor and a fun class.

Mulder's lectures are very clear and thought-provoking. Instead of copying notes on the board as fast as he can, Mulders starts with a basic principle and goes from there, asking questions of the class to make you think about the subject abstractly. Tests are not difficult or unfair if you simply do the optional problem sets he assigns.

if you want easy b+s with virtually no learning, **** beverages every night, and being surounded by smoke, go to argentina with mulders. if you want to learn something about physics, do something else with your winter session. and if you want used copies of the textbooks, email me.

Missed two questions on the Final, drop half a grade! This man is sooo lazy that everything is multiple choice, but that makes things horrible because there is NO partial credit. If you're not a Mech E and required to take this class AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
