Comment:
Charles Wallace is unreasonable. He is not willing to help students and grades unfairly. His grading and testing procedures make no sense. Unfortunately he knows that everything he does makes his students miserable and seems to enjoy it. He knows that students can't get him in trouble.

Tests are hard, lectures can be dry at times. As long as you attend class you should be fine. If you ask for help, he is willing to give it. The lab was the really fun!

Dr. Wallace is a really nice guy but this class is ridiculous. It's almost impossible to get an A in this class unless you are good at memorizing 50 pages of notes/exam and knowing every single little detail. If you forget even the slightest of details you will get half of the points off on the question. He's a nice man but should not be teaching

Class is pointless. He reads directly from his notes that he gives you. Tests are 100 Q fill in the blank and worded difficult. Class average was almost failing for every exam. My ochem class was honestly 10x easier.

Professor Wallace is a really nice man. He's very soft-spoken and always contributes personal stories related to class material. However, his class is extremely difficult. His tests consist of lists only, and he offers no study guide and tells you to study 50 pages worth of notes. He also randomly quizzes you in lab. Overall, tough class.

Chuck is a very tough teacher, however he is always willing to answer questions throughly both on direct subject matter as well as related non-subject matter. He is able to relate to all of his material because he has had hand on experience in his field. He's also one of the best teachers on getting back to your emails with questions.

Dr. Wallace is not a professor-- he's a scientist. Granted, he knows his stuff and has a Ph.D, but he doesn't know the first thing about teaching. No textbook, only his notes that you are to print off and go by, which is a task in itself, as the document design is atrocious. Tests are essay and consist of memorizing and regurgitating information

Very easy if you are able to memorize list, but other wise not a good class. In my section the class average was failing on the majority of the test.

If you want to ensure a good grade, go to class and sit in the front so he sees you every day. Attendance isn't mandatory because all the notes are posted online. The key to doing well on the tests is memorizing lists.

O.K. so I was SOOOO exicted about taking this class, but sadly it proved to be a huge dissappiontment! Not only was it boring, Mr. Chuck wasn't the greatest teacher either, he turned a subject that could be so interesting so something that was not even worth going to class for. Attendence is not really necessary because all the exams including the

he was always happiest when most of us failed or did badly, very gleeful. The head of the department and the other professors are reviewing his grading of this class. He hasn't updated anything in 15 years, according to the dep. head. They wish they could fire him- I wish they could as well

He's a really nice guy, but I didn't like that we had to memorize EVERYTHING in the notes. He was never specific as to what we should study for the exams, always just said "everything". very frustrating! and TONS of info! Great labs though!

I liked him as a person, but I didn't care for the class. He saw animals as a means of income and didn't seem to have any compassion that they actually are living creatures. His lectures are okay, he has interesting stories from the farm. I didn't like Witter Farm at all.

Really nice guy and helpful, but tests are brutal. Looks for specific key words that need to be in your answer, no key word = no credit, so it's basically memorize 50 pages of boring material
