A truly solid choice. Always enjoy his classes and love to learn German from an Austrian's perspective. He is very smart and I always learn a lot from his classes. He is tech-savvy and helpful in selecting research papers.

I took Dr. Moser for 101, 102, and 201. I had no prior German experience. Yes, he is challenging, but it is doable. After one semester with him, I had learned more German than my boyfriend did in 4 years of high school German. Also, I love Dr. Moser's dry sense of humor. He is really a nice guy, just very dry and sarcastic.

terrible class, the man does not know how to teach the material. spent so many hours working on the journal which he just quickly flipped through. failed two tests but ended up with a B thanks to extra credit. the final is easy since he doesnt make it up.

Be ready to teach yourself because everything I learned, I learned form the book. Makes you keep a journal with your own notes that have to be notes you take from the book and not from class lectures. AVOID him at all costs

Run like hell. He sometimes makes up problems and work on them for 15 mins + and come to find that there is no answer, so he then will spend another 15 mins trying to figure out a way to make it work which will confuse the hell out of you. My friends ended up re-teaching me the material for the final and it turns out math 103 is supposed to be easy

Mr. Moser is the worst professor I have had to date and trust me, I have had some awful teachers. He's a very soft spoken man so if you sit in the back you wont hear a thing. He also has a knack for going off of topic many times and teaches things that aren't in the textbook. Speaking of which, you can forget about him teaching, YOUR BOOK IS LIFE

DROP THIS CLASS. Your only grades for the whole semester are 3 tests, a journal and your final. He isnt clear on anything, the test make no sense, and he makes the material 10 times harder than it has to be. He does attendance every class and your grade drops for every class you miss

Dr. Moser is an amazing professor. He seems about himself but he is really all about helping his students. Participate and he will like you. No way you can miss classes, NEED the book, tests are not that hard. Pretty simple as long as you study. He loves math and you can really tell. Goes over the info a lot and makes sure everyone understands

Most of the time he does not know what he is teaching, he confuses himself which then confuses the students. Do not ask for help because he is no help at all. Overall his class isn't that awful it's just him. The whole class is based on theories rather than actual number problems.

He knows his stuff, he just doesnt know how to teach it. I learned that to pass this class you have to teach yourself through the textbook and already come to class knowing the subject or else he'll just confuse you even more. And dont ask a question if your confused because he'll just get frustrated and yell... then laugh

You cant miss more than 2 classes otherwise its 5% off of your grade which trust me you cant afford. If youre prepared to do 8-12 hours a week writing useless information from the book into a journal (which he teaches differently from) then moser is the professor for you! He confuses himself and makes everything way harder than it needs to be. Drop

He is by far my favorite professor to date. I am a math major, but even English majors found the class easier because of the way he taught. His classes are definitely worth taking.

Where do I begin. Besides being incredibly rude and unhelpful, he does not teach, and his tests are nearly impossible. If you get him as a professor, drop him immediately. Even if you think you can handle him, I studied 3 hours for a test and still failed. DROP DROP DROP run while you can

Professor moser is the worst professor I have ever had. his course does not offer many ways to get a good grade. If you are not a good test taker, you will fail the course. He doesn't care about his students and yells at them / is very rude to the students if they get his questions wrong in lecture. Awful experience

Professor Moser has been unfairly criticized here. He expects students to work hard and knocks himself out to work with you and help you when he sees you are honestly trying. He does expect you to do a lot of work, but I don't mind that. I only got a B in the class, and I worked hard for it. I'm proud that I did because I got a lot out of it.

Moser is a complete ding dong. All he cares about is his precious mathematica. Which makes no sense because you can't use a calculator or mathematica on your tests. But he teaches with it. You have to teach yourself in this class entirely. He told me he was going to fail me because my phone went off in class. Do not take him. Absolutely terrible
