Professor Bruce is very nice and passionate about what he teaches. The exams have very little to what you do in class though. They come straight from the textbook. The textbook isnt mandatory, but its useful for studying for the exam. Your main grade will be from a semester long paper. It's not too difficult though.

Bruce is a sweet old man. He is passionate about his subject. The lectures are useless though but you still have to show up. He curves grades heavy. Read the book to learn. You have to write a CTW paper that takes a lot of work but he grades it very easy. Do not wait to do it. Two tests and three pop quizzes. I would take him again but he retired.

Good teacher enjoyed his class! even though I barely went managed to skeet off with an A. Assignments consisted of paper, midterm, final, oral presentation(no ppt needed) which was easy you just talk about fun facts on your country.

So, he's extremely easy to ignore. Attempts to get the class involved but he's not very good at it. He likes to lecture in "story mode" if you know what I mean. So it's hard to pinpoint what information you actually need to know. He doesn't upload his slides, even though there is a folder for it. He's really passionate about the course at least...

Lectures are extremely long and has nothing to do with what is on tests. I would avoid at all cost because you are on your own! Don't say someone did not warn you ahead of time.

All test questions come from the reading material. You have to read, and the book is so boring. But Dr. Bruce is a pretty good teacher, he's definitely passionate about the class, however the material itself is kind of boring. One paper, just follow the rubric. Go to class because he gives a few pop quizzes and takes attendance most days.

I didn't study for 1 minute this entire class and got an A. This will be a boring lecture, but the lack of work makes it laughably easy. Midterm and final are both directly from the books end of chapter notes, and the paper is graded incredibly easily. Quizzes? I think he forgot we were supposed to even have them. Nice guy who knows his stuff

Dr. Bruce has a lot of knowledge on history, but doesn't teach what you need to know for the exams, so you must read the text for the exams. Class is pretty easy. You have to do an interesting project, which is I found fun. Overall, I liked listening to him, but you won't miss anything for the test by not coming to class.

Professor Bruce is a nice old man, but this class is painfully boring. I took it during maymester so I had to fight myself from falling asleep for two hours every day. The material is not hard, just read the book and powerpoint slides he provides. I got an A- with minimum effort.

Great Maymester class. Professor was clear on exams/projects. Exams were from lectures/book/powerpoints. Good instructor - loves the subject - would highly recommend taking him. Maymester had 2 quizzes (15% each), paper (20%), final (40%), participation (10%).

In the start of my semester, he got hurt. I mostly had substitutes come in to lecture on behalf of him for the ENTIRE semester. The material was easy to comprehend even though he wasn't present majority of the time. The tests are simple-just read your book and slides. he has 10 pop quizzes so always be in class. It's an easy A.

I had to drop this class because he does not teach at all about what we are supposed to be learning. I did learn a lot about history but I am not sure how that related to our chapters. Does not stay on topic. Would only cover 6-9 slides of 35ish on each chapter.

Bruce is great. He has a plethora of knowledge, and experience in Int. Business. The class is easy, like others have said, 3 tests & a paper. Tests are straight from PowerPoint?s, and he gives you like 4 rubrics/handouts to help of you need it for the paper. He actually lectures, unlike most who read directly from Power Points. Take if you can

He knows everything about international business. you will struggle to stay awake and if you take the 7:15 at night class plan on being there until 9:45 every night. Tests are easy if you read the book and look at his outline.
