Comment:
Absolutely worst teacher ever. He doesn't understand his online course regarding the text. Tests on lectures (only) that are either poor in quality or not accessible at all. (Online course.) The ones you can hear drone on and on. Slow or does not reply to email. Entire class involved in email to attempt to figure class out with no results. Rude.

Mr. Smith is a kind, concerned and ultimately fair economics professor. He never uses surprises and always warned the students about everything in coming weeks. He was not really an original thinker in Econ; there are not enough around today, but cleaverness in Econ is what we need given our economics now. He retired at 63 & is now gone from here.

He is super easy. I got through the class without the book, though he does sometimes quiz on what we were supposed to read. Class is structured for non-majors. Take good notes and study a bit before the test and you'll pass. He gives short-essay ques before the test day; MC ques are in the study guide or online. This is his last sem, though.

Mr. Smith loves what he teaches...The homework and class work is is pretty easy but the test are kind off hard you really have to study hard the multiple choice is the most difficult(which should be the easiest) the writing part is easy he tells you ahead of time what's on the test and if you want to check your answers you can check it with him :)

I got an A. I wish Professor Morse taught the class. Smith just spits out what he learned in economics (the super-Liberal minded Keynesian Economics. "I'm doing a sucky job of instructing you on economics","Federal Reserve is the White Knight", are actual quotes from him. If you want to learn economics, don't take his class.I'm glad i study outside

Professor Smith's class is overall fairly easy. There are 3 exams (he drops the lowest 1), final exam, few h/w assingments, and 3 Article summary assingments. His exams are based on essays and MC. Answers are in the Study guide and essay answers he gives a day before the class. Easy professor, but you have to do your part as well. I got an A.

He was okay. The chocolate chip cookie thing got old quick. I think he really cares about the students doing well and structures his class for them to succeed. In his own way I think he tried to encourage the class to do well in school, and not just to pay into his "social security one day" ALL THE ANSWERS ARE IN THE STUDY GUIDE BOOK.

Professor Smith is the best. This class is easy. Just read the book and take notes in class. There are 3 Exams (he drops the lowest one), 1 Final, 3 Article Summary Assignments, simple h/w, and gives extra credit. Study out of the study guide and the notes he gives, inorder to pass the exams. I recommend this Professor.

Really really easy class, possibly the easiest class I have taken. To get an A, read the Study guide, half the exam is that, and he tells you what the other half is going to be. Do your Homework and attend you will get no less than a B. Super nice guy, hes a must take.

Very Nice and smart.I took his macro class, and all you need to do to get an A in his course is to attend class, take notes (because his test question answers are out of his daily notes),read the multiple choice in the study guide. Even if econ is not your best interest, you could still pull an A. Easily. he also brings milk n cookies on final day.

All you have to do is take some notes and then right before the test he tells you the questions for the test. Then you have to memorize like 120 multiple choice questions off the internet and you get an automatic A on the test. There are a few homeworks(like 2) and then 3 really short papers you have to right but the class is ridiculously easy.

His class is easy. if me who was not interested at all in the subject could get an A, anyone can. but don't assume you know stuff, he tells you what the exam questions will be but it is up to you to look over them and study. you don't even have to learn the stuff just cram it. EVERYONE SHOULD GET AN A IN THIS CLASS!
