Comment:
Paul was a super nice guy and I really enjoyed his class. He gives organized notes that follow along with his lecture and the workload outside of class was not too demanding. I only suggest not to buy the mandatory textbook for this course because I didn't use mine all semester.

Paul is a great guy who is very friendly. He is willing to work with you through almost any problem you have. The hardest part about this class is the take home exams, but even then you get to use notes, internet etc. Worth taking him!

Excellent energy! Professor Stephenson makes you want to come to class and attend lectures. He's always very positive and excited to teach. Course contact was good, I just wished we had more homework to practice concepts. Only reason I gave him a 4/5 is because he's very hard to get in contact with, and doesn't respond to emails well.

Paul is a super nice guy, and willing to help out students with anything they need. However, he is not great at lecturing or teaching statistics to people without background on the topic. If you already know the material you will do fine, but class time is used very poorly and he often goes off on tangents. His grading is also extremely subjective.

Paul is great! He is super helpful outside of class. He even was open to helping me with work from other classes. Definitely one of the few professors I've had that genuinely care about the student.

It's good to have at least one other 300 level stats experience before taking this class, like nonparametrics. His grading methods are ambiguous but fair. There is a two-part group project. His tests ask very vague questions so you really have to know and understand the concepts in order to do well on the exams. You get a note sheet for each exam.

Really nice, but can be hard to follow. He knows what he is talking about but occasionally goes off on tangents, teaching material not on test. I did well in the class, but I had taken other classes that gave me some background on the topics presented in this class.

Good guy, terrible professor. He uses his own book and it is extremely hard to decipher. The exams are way to long to finish in 50 minutes. Avoid him at all cost

I feel sorry for anyone taking him in the winter semester because the fall semester is literaly half fantasy football league. You won't learn anything and they clearly just need someone to teach this for a theme. You can't get a bad grade but for some reason he wont let everyone get A's. A way for GV to take money from you and waste some time.

He was one of the worst profs I have ever taken. The most unorganized that I have ever seen any prof. He goes in no particular order through the book so when exams come it is up to you to decide what to study. He rambles on about stupid stories.

Good professor for this class. I was scared going into this class, but came out with a good grade. He let us use cheat sheets on the last few tests and it helped alot. I recommend him at least for summer class.

He was awesome. He let us use cheat sheets for all of our quizes, even the final! You do have to come to every class so that you don't get behind, and be prepared to listen up. He is so great though, as a person and as a professor.
