Was this the easier class Ive ever taken at MU? Yes. But I didnt learn anything because quizlet and group projects. She assigns reading in a free textbook that nobody reads lol. She has 30 minute zoom classes. Overall a very very easy class but I felt like I wanted to be pushed to learn more - was too easy. She is funny and respected.

Her class was really easy but we really learned a lot. She was so sweet and kind and truly cares about her students. Just make sure you do the few assignments given and study for the 2 exams and you will be good to go!

Let me tell you... Hokanson is hands down one of the best professors you will have at Monmouth! She is very clear on what she expects... she is understanding, will work with you, everything! I have had her twice now and I will take her any chance I can get. Love love love her!

Professor Hokanson is hands down my favorite professor at MU. She is so caring and wants her students to succeed. She lectures for half the class, gives you a break, and then finishes class. She collects phones for extra credit. It wasn't bad at all. She is an overall awesome professor. TAKE HER!!!!!!!

Super sweet, but don't take advantage of it. She can get super passive aggressive which I guess most people just don't notice but it bothered me. None of my group members or class knew what was going on most of the time or what she wanted us to do. Just smile and do your best.

This woman is a saint. She is super amazing and caring. I had her for my service learning class. If you could avoid taking this class and doing an internship instead, I would do that! If not, she's the absolute best professor. You mainly work with a group all semester to create a binder and she gives no hw. She fantastic and really works with you!

best professor I've had so far. She's very bubbly and happy all the time. This class was very easy and we barely did any work, but there were only 2 tests so you have to make sure you pass them. She really puts in the effort to get to know her students and she nearly always ended class early which is an obvious plus.

Possibly one of my favorite professors ever. She is always available to help and makes writing your paper so enjoyable. She is the sweetest woman on campus and wants all of her students to succeed. I HIGHLY recommend taking Professor Hokanson any chance you get!!

Professor Hokanson is one of the greatest professors at Monmouth. She's very funny and makes the class relevant. She also loves dogs, so if you love dogs you will love her! If you have the chance, TAKE HER CLASS!!

God bless this woman. Breaks the fourth wall of the academic bureacracy and realizes students don't want to be there. She will be your best friend if you let her. The kind of woman who "Just wants to give you a big hug and tell you everything is okay." Those were her exact words. Take her for any class you can without hesitation.

I loved her as a person but the class was so freaking boring. The class I took was my FYSEM called "Communication in Relationships" and at the beginning it was so easy. She isn't very clear about the material and when studying for the final you have to look up a lot of definitions on google. There was a lot of extra credit but i didnt like going

Prof. Hokanson is amazing!! I had her for my first year seminar "Communication in Relationships" and it wasn't difficult at all. You need to study for the midterm and final but other than that, just participate and enjoy how hilarious she is! She gives extra credit if you put your phone in the front of the class. Definitely take her and her class!

One of my favorite professors! She is literally the most hilarious, socially awkward professor. She will always have a personal story to relate to content. Don't take out your phone during her class, nod your head, smile, answer a few questions every now and then and you are sure to get an A
