Hands down one of the worst professors at UD, which is impressive considering he never once taught class! Doesn't read your emails (if he even bothers to reply, it won't help), doesn't even know what's on his own exams. Barely understands Canvas & his own grading rubric. Wouldn't take this class if it wasn't mandatory.

Has other professors teach for him and will never respond to your emails. Even though he "taught" the course he never made an appearance. He will never tell you what exactly is on a test and doesn't care about his students whatsoever. This might be the worst professor in the MMSC department at UD

Terrible. There is subjects that should NOT be held asynchronous; and language of medicine is one of them. Does not communicate well in emails, unethical and way too much work given you don't even have an actual class with him. WAY TOO MUCH MATERIAL to be learned in such a short amount of time. If you can take this with anyone else, save yourself.

Not as bad as everyone makes him seem. All you have to do is read the textbook and the exams will come easy to you.

I really like Dr. Lehman, the notes come from PowerPoints and are very straight forward. The exams are a little difficult but nothing crazy. Spelling quizzes were very easy and boosted my grade! The textbook isn't required but is super helpful and there's lists where the spelling quiz words are chosen from

Test are extremely hard with very specific open ended questions. Clicker points only count for correctness and ended up lowering my grade even though i went to every lecture. Spelling quizzes and online quizzes barely help your grade either. try to take this course with a different professor, it will be MUCH easier and less stressful.

Do not take Lehman for MEDT200. He took a class that should be an easy A and made it impossible. Clicker points count for correctness so you could show up to class (which is extremely boring), get the answers wrong and end up with the same grade as someone who wasn't there. His tests are difficult, he mispronounces words, and he isn't understanding

Most unfair class ive taken at ud. Worst exams EVER theyre worth 60 percent of your grade and nearly impossible. Nothing he actually teaches but ok

Dr. Lehman turned a fairly hard course into a very difficult class to get a good grade in. He gives quizzes that are pretty easy once a week, but his exams are extremely hard. His lectures put the class to sleep for the most part and he gives difficult clicker questions, that only count if you get right, on the material we learn that same lecture.

One of the easiest classes that I've ever taken. Study for the exams, they're worth most of the grade and are fairly difficult. Outside of exams, this class is very easy and Don doesn't expect you to go to class every day.

Dr. Lehman is a sweet guy, but he isn't very fair with his exams. Four exams, one group project with a virtual world that doesn't help you understand class concepts, and easy to look-up online quizzes. He requires that you get the iclicker questions right, you probably won't. Although, he is willing to help outside of the classroom!

Do not take this teacher. He is a nice guy but gives very hard tests. He does clicker questions every class and even though he says if u get 80% right he gives full credit, you will most likely not get 80%. This should be an easy A class but is no where near it. Take the other professor.

Nice enough outside of class, but difficult as prof. Three tests, six quizzes, group project using Second Life (total waste of time!), and use of Clickers that count towards final grade. Perk was guest speakers. Extra credit offered, but not really talked about so easy to miss out on. He's the only prof for this course, so stuck with him.

He is such a sweet guy, he really cares about his students and wants you to do well. He is really funny but he moves very fast in his lectures so it can be hard to keep up. I have had him for MEDT 360 and MEDT 404 and they were both very difficult. Do the objectives for each exam, they take forever but all of his exam questions are from there.

It's strange reading all of these comments because I am taking my third class with lehman now and I LOVE him. As long as you study from his objectives in his course manual, you are guarenteed a good grade because that's where he pulls all of his questions from. He has the cutest sense of humor, and is genuinely nice.

Be prepared to study, but it's okay because the material is really interesting for the most part. Exams can be pretty tricky but they're all multiple choice and matching. Really smart guy, uses capture (which is nice to go back and re-listen to the material covered), don't be scared to ask questions during class to clarify stuff he's really helpful

Lectures are boring and the exams (there are 3 or 4) don't really test what you learn from the lectures or what's in the textbook so it's really hard to know what to expect on them. Also there's a group project done on Second Life that is really confusing and doesn't help you with forensics.

Comment:
The course only had three exams. Very tough. His outlines were not anywhere near what was on the test. The actual study guides were 7 pages long. This didn't help at all. Only 20% of the material if that. He is nice and approachable but he doesn't seem to care about students. He's very accomplished and educated but a horrible teacher.

Suggest taking another professor if you can! His exams are extremely hard. Tons of information and memorization. He gives out study guides that are very detailed (75 bulleted list!) but only tests you on about 20% of it. Very open to help you. If you are stuck with him all you can do is STUDY STUDY!

He is a very nice guy and easy to approach. He answered every question I had straight to the point. He does not try to trick you on exams because it is actually straight from his powerpoints/words. I would recommend typing his slides before class and just taking notes on what he says because each lecture is A LOT of information.
