Comment:
Worst professor I have ever had. Lectures were boring and she is hard to pay attention to. The lectures included maybe 13 of the test material needed to be successful. The book had another 13. The other 13 was a mystery to me and probably everyone else in the class considering how low her test averages were.

This was the worst class I have ever taken. I have taken many psych classes and loved them all, but she ruined this for me. I worked so hard in class but her tests were HARD and did not follow her lectures AT ALL. Also, I was dropped a full letter grade because I missed two in class assignments. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Good subject terrible teacher

I love psychology. But she made it impossible. The stuff she says in lecture, doesnt end up on the midterms and final. The book is huge, and with no study guide, it is difficult to figure out what is relevant and irrelevant in it. I took her because the other professor at SDSU had (hard to believe) worse ratings than she.

Would not recommend this teacher or class. It turned out to be one of my least favorite classes. You have to read a ton in order to pass the tests and the lectures are painfully boring.

She is extremely hard to understand, half the time she does not even know what she is talking about. She is very unorganized and often goes off topic. If you don't read, you'll find the tests to be very difficult. She goes through slides too quickly to write down notes. Overall, interesting course however, wish I had a better teacher.

She looks and sounds exactly like Edna from the Incredibles, I loved it! 3 exams, a couple in class activities for points, and a project. She was super generous and gave us 120 questions ahead of time from which she picked 100 to put on the final, so i got 100% on the final!! It was a real grade booster. Take good notes!

You MUST read the text book to do well on the tests. I understood the material she presented in class perfectly, but did poorly on the first 2 tests because I didn't read the text. She will ask you specific questions directly from the text. Study the text and powerpoint slides and you will do great.

Class not mandatory, but helpful. You don't need to read the book if you use her lecture notes. I thought this class was very interesting and liked the topics. Not a hard class at all. She talks a lot and fast at times, but it's not too difficult to keep up with.

Before every exam (there are only 3) she gives you the essay questions so you can plan it (mine were like a paragraph). I admit I didn't show up half the time, it was an early class, but I aced the final. Her course documents are super helpful. She just wants you to pass, and her lectures are interesting.

Do not take this class. She does nothing relies on her aid to do everything for her and she barely lectures and have many "guest" speakers. No study guides or review in class. If you take this class good luck and remember I warned you

She is completely unreasonable. I did more work in this class than all of my other classes combined. You have to do a ton of reading in this class, AND attend all of the lectures. There is something wrong with a professor when the class average on the tests are just above 50%.

Very hard class. the tests are extremely hard only multiple choise is hard the essays are life savers, very esy grader on essays. her accent is odd. the lectures are in a dark room in morning so i always was falling asleep. we convinced her to an extra credit 10 pg paper which saved my grade. take another teacher if you can

I have never had such a difficult teacher. She does not have office hours to start with, & Most of the class is failing. But the icing on the cake is how many incorrect answers her tests have. On the first, I argued and got 3 questions off because the answers were THAT wrong. DO NOT TAKE. You have to memorize random stats that have no relevance.

VERY unorganized. her lectures are off topic from the book and the tests are extremely difficult and VERY specific. study guides are no help. her voice makes listening to her impossible. However she is an easy grader. 3 exams, 2 of them with essays (grade savers) and she gave 1 extra credit 10 page paper. Take another teacher if possible.

Extremely unorganized and inconsistent. Tests consist of 30ish MC and 1 essay- the questions are almost impossible, the essay will save your grade. She doesn't do the in-class quizzes anymore, but you do need the book for the test because you never actually know what's going to be on it. If you can, take this class with another teacher.

One of the best psych teachers at State in my opinion. Very easy, never read the book except when searching for answers for the weekly quizzes. 3 tests, 2 come with essays, around half of the multiple choice questions are from the weekly quizzes. Lectures are boring sometimes, but learned a lot. The subject itself is really interesting.

Reilly is nice and makes everything pretty clear. The stuff she talked about was common sense. However, it was a bit difficult listening to her voice for an hour and fifteen minutes and her TA was not very helpful. Weekly quizzes are really easy, the book practically throws the answer at you. Final is not cumulative, but is extremely easy.

she is very nice and funny. the class is challenging, but what class isnt. three exams multiple choice with essay. she gives out the question so you can fully be prepared for the essay. no study guide, but if you are detailed in your essays, they become your study guide. she helps you get a better grade, at the end with the final exam.
