He is a really nice professor, that being said he is incredibly boring to listen to. He lectures for the full class, and barely notices that no one is paying attention to him. His accent makes it impossible to understand him, and if you don't sit in the very front row good luck reading what he writes on the board. Easy A if you read the textbook.

Don't go to class it is pointless. Buy the book and use it before the tests. Easy A.

Easy A if you pay attention in class and take good notes. Hard to understand from the back, but clear if you sit in the front. I never read the book and passed every test. Every class is a lecture which gets boring, but he will answer questions if you ask. Pass the first three tests and you don't need to come back to class or take the final.

The material was pretty easy, but the lectures were boring and not engaging. The grading was decently fair, 3 multiple choice tests with 50 questions each. If you attend class and read the text book, it's an easy A, but take a different professor if available.

I really enjoy political science, but this class almost ruined it for me. He does not engage students at all and there is no class discussion. It is pure lecture, but as long as you go to class you will receive a B. If you get the book and read the chapters, you will get an A with no studying involved. Do not take him if there are others available.

If you need to take a PSC class and want to get an easy A while learning nothing, take Sandhu. If you want to try a little and learn a lot, look elsewhere. Lectures are extremely boring and don't even bother asking questions about theoretical issues or why things are the way they are; if you're lucky, you'll get a mediocre-at-best answer.

extremely boring. Ignores questions when you try to ask one. Basically has the whole book memorized and goes based directly off that. Doesn’t veer off for any class discussions, about class topics. Monotone. Basically have to teach yourself from the book. Tests aren’t that bad, 50 multiple choice, 3 of them. 3 written assignments, 10 points each

This has been my least favorite class at WCU. If you want a boring lecture class with no PowerPoint presentations or class discussions, then this is your class. Dr. Sandhu is a nice guy and he encourages people to ask questions, but any time someone in my class asked a question he got annoyed and said, "That's written in the syllabus." It wasn't.

Dr. Sandhu's class was by far one of the worst I've ever taken. Syllabus says there would be a D2L page and there was not. We never did half of the assignments on the syllabus and the ones we did do had absolutely no guidelines. No feedback what so ever on anything you do. I learned absolutely nothing in this class, still got a B+.

He is a nice professor. He is a little difficult to understand with his accent. if you read the book and take the practice quizes in the book you will pass this class. He doesn't care if you attend or not but if you attend all or most of the classes he says he will curve your grade at the end if you went to all the classes

Sandhu is a good and Knowledgeable prof, his class isn't hard if you do the readings and study a bit. His biggest flaw is that he is soo long drawn and slightly hard to understand it might put you to sleep even in an afternoon but otherwise a good prof.

Sandhu can be very hard to understand and his lectures are extremely boring, but his class is Very Easy. It's 3 tests..Thats It. All of the questions on the test come directly from the study guide in the textbook. If you want an easy A/B and not looking for much teacher involvment ...Take him.

Though hard to understand at times, Dr. Sandu teaches very well. Re-read the chapters after you have had a class discussion, just to inprint what he discussed. He gives only 4 tests, and counts 3. Show up to class!! He has a sign in sheet almost every day, and takes note on who was there and what not. I suggest taking him.

I'm convinced Sandhu will teach until he's 100. In fact he could already be that old. Makes Asian politics and culture seem like... Asian politics and culture. No frills. Not a whole lot of fun. I was shocked he even assigned us to do PowerPoints. Don't try to e-mail him, he won't respond. I kinda just laugh at his jokes and sit back and relax.

sandhu is SO boring but it is not a hard class at all. you need to go to every class and if you miss one you are lost because he will not help you with what you missed. during lecture, i wrote down everything he said and I ended up with an A- . tests are pretty easy but you need to study or you will not do well.

Boring, slow, and demanding. Doesn't seem to care about teaching, as he never asks questions to the class and expects us all to be on the same page as him. He is crude as he farts during class.

He is an extremely boring teacher who is inconsistent with his outline. He never really asks or answers questions you may have since he thinks it's all in the syllabus. He can sometimes be extremely ignorant and unfair, but that's his style. He is fairly easy though if you attend class.

Bhim is the man. Show up to class and pay attention and you're guaranteed an A. Is sometimes incosistent with his outline in class but compared to my high school history classes this is a breeze. Dr. Sandhu is a must take.
