First experience with Dr. F as a teacher. Really enjoyed his class and his method of teaching - takes it down to real-life examples so you understand. Heavier workload but it is an important class so rather have more work to grasp the concepts than to just get the surface level. Final project is a big part of the grade but you learn a lot from it.

Very knowledgable and a nice guy. However, the homework assignments and exams tend to be harder that what is gone over in class. He expects a lot of outside work and research which can be frustrating when you have other classes to worry about. Again, a very smart professor, but his classes are by far the hardest of the CS classes.

Dr. Forouraghi is a very smart man. He may not be crystal-clear in some of his explanations, but if you ask, he will help and try to explain in a different way. He really cares about the students and is always willing to help you understand better. His homeworks and exams are sometimes tough and long, but not too bad if you put the work in.

Exams are very difficult. I scored real well on HW, but the exams were extremely difficult. Luck to get a 70% on the midterm and final. Lectures are taught fast, but are easy to understand.

Remains the best CS professor at SJU. All of his courses are excellent, but IAD was the class that I enjoyed most. He covers quite a bit of material in the semester, so expect a project for each topic. Projects become increasingly more difficult, yet showing creativity will earn extra credit points. I suggest 'showing off' if you can.

Hands down the best CS professor. Easily one of the best at SJU. He will be there every step of the way to help as long as you show that you are trying.
