Comment:
Provides no feedback on grades unless asked. Don't bother going to lectures, he just reads off the slides and doesn't write out examples, they're just posted in the powerpoint. He claims he wants everyone to get 100s on quizzes, but they are structured so poorly that no one does well. Ends lectures an hour early in a 90 minute lecture. Just lazy.

Pretty decent and easy class. Lots of your marks come from the labs so even if you don't do too hot on the midterms, you have 4 labs and 2 modelling assignments (easy). The TA's do very relevant problems in seminar and he makes it very clear in class what kind of questions to expect on the midterms. All slides are posted at the start of the week

Comment:
Not the greatest, fairly arrogant and at times refuses to explain things or makes a joke out of it. The guy does know his stuff though and is good at providing context/background info for problems. He posted all of the slides online which was helpful. Exams were difficult but they seem to mark them reasonably (generous with part marks).

He goes very quickly through slides, which he does not even post. Is very resistant to helping students. Promises are not to be trusted. Go to class only for hints.

He does not teach in class at all. Races through the lecture notes which does not help. Exams are super hard and totally opposite of what he emphasizes on in class. He knows his material but he doesnt know how to teach at all.

Comment:
Taught this course by delivering each lecture 2-3 times at lightning speed (way too quick to take any decent notes), and didn't post any notes online. The repetition might help some people, but I would have much rather he went at a reasonable pace and delivered the material only once.

Race to write everything down!! Nothing is posted online, and he leaves slides up with problems and vital equations for about 3 seconds. I hope you can write quickly because otherwise you are screwed. BUY THE TEXTBOOK!!!

Interesting prof, seemed willing to help but never came through. Practice problems and work on your own are a necessity, these are well-stressed and decent practice for future use in university. He made a simple 1st year engineering course difficult for those taking it and I wouldn't like to deal with him in the upper years.

I know he is pretty new but needs to learn how to teach. The key to doing well is do LOTS of problems, thats the only way to build good problem solving skills. Midterm was fair but Exam was way too long and challenging. Easy content just work on problem solving skills and FBD's.On tests write down everything (yay for part marks), fair marker.

As a professor i would say he is average. Was willing to change his learning style and cared about people passing. TA's are really good, and if you do the recommended problems it is possible to get at least a 75% in the course.

This guy is a pathetic teacher. He knows what he's doing but can not explain concepts. The "Let learning continue" at the end of his lecture slides is ironic as the learning never starts. lol.
