Comment:
He assigns wayyy to much much reading material, like 50 pages and above worth and acts like you have all the time in the world to focus on his class and his class only. He also refuses to listen to the class when they attempt to tell him they are struggling with the quizzes he assigns after the reading.

Comment:
Smith is a very arrogant professor. In class and in his grading he acts like you know nothing and he knows everything, tries to wow you with his large vocabulary. He gives unnecessary assignments and is very harsh to those who don't go to class, even though each class is a lecture. Did I mention that the "textbooks" were both novels?

Cool guy. Bad teacher. Smith wants you to feel you're on a senior class while you're a freshman. Harsh grader. His quizzes are impossible. Take the advice of this humble student who dropped his class. Don't do it!

He's a nice guy but gives an overwhelming amount of work. he assigned a huge research paper along with 16 other paper homework assignments. there is a lot of reading and his lectures kind of drag on. i wouldnt take him again

Professor Smith makes history fun! His class is very interesting and there is a set structure that everyone knows and we do every week. Lectures only happen 3 times during the semester and they are written in stone what will be on them.

I've never seen a professor make HISTORY more interesting than Professor Smith. He knows his history very well and lectures straight from head. He's also adorable, love the bow-ties.

Has exceedingly high expectations of every student, even the ones who are not history majors. Very harsh grader. It seems like he wants to make your life difficult and enjoys doing so. Really kind of an A hole

He was genuinely excited about teaching history. Sure his essays were sometimes a bit difficult, but this was a class that I always looked forward to attending (I'm a math major by the way).

he is a good professor but he is hard. You have to read a lot to do the quizzes because by listening the lecture is not enough. I drop the class because i lost the motivation. It sucks when i read a complete chapter and then i got bad grades on quizzes. Quizzes are due every week!

Interesting teacher, lectures not at all boring! Sometimes he spoke way over my head, but I'm not a history major. Be sure to read about the historians when he assigns it, there are quizzes over the material the class after. Hard grader.

Love this class and he is the best professor I have had so far. He was very happy and had great lectures. I love his little quirks like the use of the word project, because everything he does like attendance he calls a project. And he wears bowties and thats just great.

His lectures have nothing to do with whats on the test for example during the wwii section all he talked about was how hitler and stalin were bad actors. class is easiy if you do the work.

Professor Smith is one of if not the best professor's at Lindenwood. HE teaches with such passion that it is hard not to get caught up in his lectures. As a non history major I was not very interested to begin with, but I have to say that I honestly looked forward to a History class for the first time in my life.

Took this class for J-Term, only 2-3 tests. They were very easy. He seemed a little harsh on grading papers though. He kept things pretty interesting for a lecture class, and I liked the activities we did.
