Very jolly guy, always smiling and you can tell he is passionate about the courses he teaches. His course notes are very thorough, you could do well from just reading them but his lectures are enjoyable. A LOT of bonus marks available on assignments. Fair exams and he outlines very clearly what is covered for the exams.

Explanations were great, awesome sense of humour, gave small explanations of the deeper mathematics linked to the concepts purely for interest, very nice and approachable.

Friggin hilarious prof, great classes. Overuse of the "cat" "dog" "aardvark" functions, and the phrase "spirit of calculus". Definitely recommended.

Comment:
Extremely reasonable prof whose primary flaw is what one might consider and unhealthy obsession with ardvarks. Initially the material was difficult to follow (probably a consequence of the (lack of) effort invested on my part), but became easier toward the end. (Advice: read relevant chapters BEFORE going to class).

Very passionate about the subject and about teaching. He's definitely amazing to talk to outside of class, and is always willing to help his students. Some students might find his style difficult to follow as he tends to jump around during his lectures, but he's engaging nonetheless.

Great professor! One of my favourite professors for sure. Only problem was, his final exam was not fair what so ever. The final was mostly based on the material he rushed through near the end of the course. Some advice, study, study, study the material taught in the end.

Not a good prof at all, screwed everything up, he just 'seemed' nice, but actually is a total jerk. Teaching style sucks, has lots of flaws, isn't available outside class unless you're a hot chick. And he couldn't solve the assignment problems he expected us to do lol, the only thing good here was that he was kinda funny

Comment:
Had him for the physics-based calc. I think that since he was free to alter the course as he wished, that caused problems, because he spent lots of time focusing of physics applications, but very little teaching the actual calc we needed. He can be pretty funny though, and the examples are very interesting and insightful. Assingments sometimes hard
