Comment:
I felt very challenged in this class. My way of thinking was totally changed. This is a class talking about right and wrong and the different theories behind it. I thought the way he related it to the real world was engaging and fascinating. His tests are a doozy, however - make sure you take good notes and study the material well.

He is to date he best teacher I have ever had. Although I do remember people in my class having trouble I don't understand why. His lectures are amazing, I did NONE of the assigned reading, I took TONS of notes in class (which is writes on the board for you) and just studied those and got an A. Those notes STILL fascinate me too. Awesome lectures.

When I first joined the class, I was very scared that I was going to be overwhelmed by the amount of reading. He gives slideshows, study guides, and articles to help. He gives good lectures, but it is always word for word from the slide show. Either way, I would suggest him! If you read, you will pass the exams.

Dr. Goodpaster (along with Mr. Sloan) were the best combination of educators a new student could have. Dr. Goodpaster does not ease his discussions or lecture to fit the more modern mold of young people who feel that school is a given and not all that important. He educates those who have a love for knowledge and truly respect academics.

Very interesting and Great lectures...when he's talking of subject matter pertaining to psychology; however, I had him during an election year and he tended to spew his liberal biased agenda around quite a bit. But again, when lecturing on psychology I thought he was great.

While Psychology has a reputation of being one of the most difficult college courses, I found his lectures extremely fascinating. It sure didn't feel like a 3 hour lecture! However, if you do not study, you WILL fail. I recommend taking this class in the summer if possible so you can dedicate appropriate time for test prep.

expects students to know as much as he does about the subject, great sense of humor, material dry and boring,if you study as if you're going for your PHD you'll pass with flying colors.

Yeah I was enrolled in this class for less than a week. Then I dropped it. This material was next to impossible. He expects everyone to know what he knows. Couldn't stand this class. Thank god I'm out.

Horrible teacher. Has issues with people's faith and insinuates they are "stupid" or "wrong" for believing in their faith. Thinks far too highly of himself, as well. Class is simple, though. Do the reading and you pass the class.
