Amazing! This is not the class you can just cheat in! You have to watch the lectures and videos she gives. You won't regret it because her lectures are VERY interesting and she's funny. She is also caring, she'll make announcements throughout the course making sure your on the right track. She is always there to help, so go to office hours.

Professor LeBlanc is awesome! I have had 2 classes with her and she does not disappoint. Study and do the work and you'll get a good grade. I love how her lectures are so enjoyable and she has a good sense of humor as well. The 3 papers we are required to do are only half a page and fairly easy to do well. Highly recommend this class with her.

Had a lot of good reviews so I decided to take her. She grades HEAVY! I have perfect classwork with A's but gives 5 Exams that are a majority of your grade & half the stuff on there was not in the lecture so you have to read the TB. She is VERY picky on how you do the research papers too. All the PSYC classes I took were simple this one is hard.

never read a thing or watched more than 5 lectures, still passed. there's 5 exams, many weekly assignments, some learning checks after each chapter. answers for odd # are in the back of the book, just do the work somewhat right and she'll give you the credit you need. you need the book. could've had a better grade if I tried more but I'm lazy.

Since I took this course during the COVID-19 pandemic, I feel that this course would have benefitted from recorded lectures. This was very much a ''self-taught" course - the only guidance that my cohorts and I received were recorded study guides for the exams. If you are taking this course online, be prepared for a TON of reading!

Perhaps would have good to take in-person, but due to the pandemic that was not my experience. This course was extremely science heavy. Lecture videos would have been extremely helpful, since she did, each chapter was that much more overwhelming. I do not feel I got a quality education of the material and she did not give external resources or tips

I think she would be better to take for an in person class. Due to the coronavirus we never see or hear from her and she just posts an announcement each week. You have to teach yourself everything for this class and there are no lectures. She comes off as pretty rude in messages but as others have said, I think it may just be her strong personality

Dr. LeBlanc is a great professor everything she says is so interesting and she gives great feedback. She looks a little intimidating to approach but she is not she is very caring and she will help you understand. Don't go Godzilla on her! Stay with your Einstein thinking brain. There will be lots of homework but she will help you through it all.

Great teacher. Class lecture is pretty heavy but its understandable. Only 3 every short essays and no homework other than studying for the exams!

I took her this semester the exams are based on her lectures so you better listen. DO NOT TAKE this class @ 8 am if you are not a morning person, please. Just STUDY and you will do fine :). I had her in person and online.

I took her in person and her lecture is based off of her speaking not of the slides. She can be confusing sometimes but she does explain well. If you plan to take an 8am better make sure you're a morning person, she's a heavy lecture and exams are pretty easy, she tests you on her lecture so you have to write important things she says. JUST STUDY

I was so scared of this class because math isnt my thing. She put those fears to rest. If you can do basic 3rd grade math you are good. She makes the often confusing world of stats totally understandable. Bonus, if you haven't missed any test and have a good enough score at the end of the semester you do not have to take the final!

LeBlanc is an excellent professor. She grades with very little amount of work. Your grade is mostly based on your test and quiz you do online plus your tiny research papers that are half a page. If you put in the effort youll pass. She is very funny and makes the lectures interesting to listen to. Going to be taking her again this spring.

Dr. Leblanc was the first professor that I ever felt relaxed with when studying at Bakersfield College. Even with the intense lectures, she made the course manageable enough to pass with a confident grade. She strangely reminds me of Judge Milian as an off topic comment. Nonetheless, she genuinely cares for your education and answers questions.

This professor is ok. She wasnt very helpful online and she often had incorrect answers on the quizzes and exams. She also doesnt do anything about the incorrect answers even though she knows its wrong. Wasnt a fan of her when it came to actual learning.

I love this professor! Take her she's a blast. She makes biological psychology so exciting. I always look forward to going to her class! Do your research papers and the homework that she gives out and I'm sure you can pass the class with an A just know the material. She does have exams so make sure to read your material. Recommend her!
