Professor Robinson is one of the best professors I've had at Clarkson. He was very knowledgeable and highly enouraged participation. He's always willing to help and is easily found around campus. He always has a smile on his face and makes every student feel as if there is someone in their corner. His classes are hard but well worth it. 9.5/10.

He is by far the best professor i've had here. Not only does he teach well and encourage participation but he also thoroughly enjoys helping students understand. If you go into his office he will help you with anything from class material to making academic decisons.

Pretty much the Gem of Clarkson Social Science Section. His lecture is a discussion and he encourages all of us to participate not a "light-close boring powerpoint" way. His clarification is perfect in the course materials (but if you believe in something too much it might contradict to what he said). Conclusion: Take him if have a chance.

Chris is perhaps the best professor I have ever had. He is one of the nicest and most helpful professors I have ever met. If you ever need anything (ex letters of recommendation) after you have him as a teacher he will gladly help you with it. He is a tough grader but is very fair.

Very interesting and in-depth classes. Robinson has a real passion for what he teaches and has more office hours than any other professor I've ever seen. He really cares about students and people in general. His classes are a lot of work, but you always have help, and he makes it interesting. Classes are discussion-driven.

Soc/Pol Thought 20th Cent.- A real humanitarian and realist! Prof. Robinson's thought ranges from envir. policy to human rights & equality. You'll be reading some interesting books in his class and his class structure is quite fun; everyday is an hour long class discussion, it's like being back on debate club. One of Clakson's most articulate!
