What a guy. I never thought learning about court cases could be so fun. Plus, he is a great guy who really cares about the students. Additionally, I have a new appreciation for bees now. Take this class even if you aren't a Comm major! Go Lee!

You're in college now. Nobody's going to baby you anymore. Would rather had a hard prof and learn something than a easy prof and learn nothing. Fair grader

Somewhat easy grader when it comes to some assignments, but his tests are pretty hard. Still, he's really fun as a prof with a great sense of humor!!

I had Dr. Wright way back in 2000, and found the course very fulfilling. Listen to what he has to say, and study, because if you enter the field of broadcast journalism, you will use the info learned everyday.

It's very simple...you give speeches. He tells what he expects and grades you on it. Good course. You learn alot about public speaking.

The first day of class he said "Welcome to hell," but I came out of the class with an A. I even got a 100 on one of the tests. He is not really that bad if you do your work and study.

I agree this was easy, but that's it. It was too easy. I don't enjoy hard work, but thats what I am here for. This guy put no effort into teaching at all! When it's all said and done I will remember that he wasted my time. I learned nothing new.

Of course the class is mostly presentations, you are supposed to be learning about giving presentations. You will get lots of practice with presentation skills. And, if you aren't doing well, go see him and he will give you pointers. Easy class

I agree that he knows his stuff, I also agree that he tends to be arrogant. I did well in the class (final grade= B) but I do not owe it to the professor in any way. I found him hard to work with and unwilling to help after classtime if it was needed.

This prof might be better for majors. Had him for Com Law. Hard exams, and the term paper was too long but knows his stuff. Explained laws clearly. Fair grader. Don't cheat on the paper!

I don't know that he actually picked on anyone in our class, but he wasn't a great teacher and seems to think he is. I do agree with the post about the superior attitude. I passed, but I would rather be shot than take a course with him again (JERK).

If you like to be criticized and want to learn nothing about giving public speeches, then take this guy. We didn't even use the book I paid tons of cash for. If you come from a different region than him, get ready to be picked on about your accent.

I usually don't say that I hate people, but this guy fits the bill. He has a smug/superior attitude and can be insultive. I learned more about giving speeches in high school than from this guy. Thank god its not my major

Agree with last post. Did teach us but not much. Used 5 sheets of notebook paper all semester. Got A's on tests but still didn't do good on presentations. Probably because of the lax teaching. I have always gotten A's on presentations for other classes.
