Do not take this class. All the lectures are pre-recorded and you are required to do all of McGraw assignments/Quizzes which take very long and honestly do not correlate with the lectures each week. His quizzes are only 5 questions, timed, AND if you don't do the first extra credit you cant do the rest. He isn't willing to help you out either.

I love the professor he's super sweet but I don't recommend the class. This is one of the hardest classes that I have and it's a PRINCIPLES class. He only offered one thing of extra credit throughout the entire semester that you had to decide if you were doing within the first two weeks. Overall really disappointed.

Didn't really like this professor. Although the topic was of my interest, his material was all over the place and he would have to end up giving curves. I like a class where, when I test, I know the material and each test for me was just confusing (as well as to many others). Wish the class were more clear

All of the lectures are in person, he does not upload any of them to the online page. There's only homework and exams. The homework has nothing to do with the exams. You can get 100% on the hw and still not pass the exams. Would not recommend to anyone really trying to learn advertising

Prof. Weigold is amazing giving lectures, he breaks down the fundamentals clearly, making it easy for anyone to understand. His exams can be difficult but as long as you study you should be fine. If the exam results are real bad he'll curve the scores. I would definitely take another one of his classes in the future.

nice professor but class requires reading the textbook and taking good class notes. ive been so spoiled by smokin notes I forgot how to do that. create a group me chat with the whole class and collaborate on the hw is my best advice. extra credit comes in handy.

Really great professor who seriously cares about his students. His lectures are really engaging and interesting but the bulk of each exam definitely comes from the textbook. Exams can be moderately difficult but homework and extra credit points account for a good portion of your final grade which defintely helps.

Honestly just go to lecture and read the books and you should be fine. He's a good guy. Even if you do bad on his tests there's plenty of extra credit and hw counts for like half a letter grade.

Professor Weigold knows his stuff and is great at teaching this course. Go to lecture and read the textbook and you'll be fine. I really enjoyed this class and it helped me make my decision to major in advertising!

Great course, and livey lectures! Go to class because often there are ec opportunities. Also, READ THE BOOk because that is where a good portion of the test questions come from. Overall, a pretty easy class!

Half of your points for your class is from hw! Most of the answers to the hw are online. The test are not easy but they are not hard either. I only studied about 5 hours for each test and I never went to class. I got a C on every exam and did all the hw's and still got an A-. Showing up to class definitely makes the test easier.

Weigold is an amazing lecturer. Doesn't make attendance mandatory, but if you go, he gives you extra credit opportunities. There's homework every week and his tests are difficult, but doable if you study. Also, he curves the exams. Only downside is he doesn't really use Canvas and he makes you buy his own textbook, which is expensive.

Really great course! I'm a PR major and I learned a lot in this class. I didn't strain myself either, pretty simple courseload. Tricky on the tests, but as long as you study, you should be fine. Lecture isn't recommended, but it does help on the tests. Overall a very kind and interesting teacher.

Weigold is a funny lecturer but attendance isn't mandatory. You have to order the MH Connect which is annoying. Tests are sometimes tricky, so read the book carefully. Going to lectures will also help on tests.

As a business major taking this for a minor, this class is ridiculously easy compared to my usual business classes. Half the class is Hw grades which are easy to get As on. Went into exams without preparing as well as i would need for other classes (ex: Marketing) and aced the class. Only con is he refuses to use canvas. Take this Class!

He makes you work for the A. His tests arent easy and nothing is on quizlet. You have about 20 quizes and 3 exams. He is a great professor though. Very hillarious and comedic
