Travis is a goof-ball, which made his lectures so easy to pay attention to. The material, although heavy at times, was always presented in an engaging way. I took this class to satisfy my GE-F and it was extremely do-able, not math heavy at all. Plus he bought us coffee on the last day of class.

I had Longcore for a GE class at USC. I've been interested in maps but this class takes maps to a different level and changed the way I think essentially every time at any map of any sort. He is nerdy funny and makes class go by so quickly. He even bought coffee for the whole class. He isn't looking to fail you. Pay attention and you will get an A.

Well let's just say he's not user friendly. I daresay his education leaves a lot to be desired. Knowledge of content is fine. Not ready to help though. Of all the PhD's I've dealt with over the years, he comes across as one of the more arrogant.
