Dr. Stewart is the most knowledgeable man in history I have ever taken. He lectures on topics without once looking at notes and knows extra facts and dates as well. He is highly pedigreed and an inspiration for historically aspiring Christians. He is also very unbiased in regards to a theological reading of history. I really enjoy his class.

I no not know about his Doctrine classes, but Church History is a good class. It is easy but he gives lots of factual information, careful and fair commentary on the text and the events themselves. A very organized, helpful, and professional professor.

A lot of people find him very dry but I liked him a lot. He is so intelligent and I learned a lot. On tests he let us use our Bibles and use verses to support our answers, I liked that we had class presentations even though I hate giving speeches it was a nice change of pace to let us learn from out peers too.

Very professional, uses every second of class to lecture if possible. Very helpful in finding resources and materials for the projects and papers he assigns. However, unless you're attentive the entire class you can easily get lost. Very very knowledgable yet monotone when lecturing. The exams can be tough but you definitely learn from his class.

Relatively easy professor, if you study for the exams. Grades VERY easy on papers. Says lots of funny phrases like, "I hope you have your antennae raised," and "if you're abreast of your readings..."

It's easy to zone out in his class, but I learn nonetheless. It's not a very difficult course with him (though Doc II is harder than Doc I!) but I still feel as though I have learned in his class. I like him a lot as a person, too!

Know your verses! I learned a lot and found that he is very helpful if you just go talk to him! He encourage you to come to him if you question your grade, and really will look it over and give you a better grade if you deserve it

A wonderful professor. He truly cares about his students and will do ANYTHING as long as you ask him. His classes are somewhat hard and not the most fascinating, but he will help his students pass.

Very nice, very precise, gives good outlines on line for every class. Must know Bible references for tests. I thought he brought up many thought provoking ideas that I had never thougth of.
