Comment:
Dr Campbell wants you to understand Chemistry, however he expects way to much from his students for one credit hour course. His preecorded lectures are lengthy with PPT slides that overlap way too many times. The recorded live lectures are unwatchable and will call out the class in a very defensive manner. Did not enjoy the online experience

He is a nice man but makes students feel dumb sometimes. Ask a lot of questions in the lab and he is always willing to help but sometimes if it's not his way it's wrong even when it really is right. The class is easy if you do your work and he is always open to questions.

Dr. Campbell did a terrible job teaching his students that were remote only. There were never class meetings with students and the only time offered for help were inaccessible office hours instead of the time in our schedules for the lab. He was extremely nitpicky when grading and constantly found reasons to take off the most menial points possible

Chemistry comes to me pretty naturally so I didn't have a hard time but I know other people for sure did. Expect to do a lot of practice problems in class. I know some people think he's a jerk and he can be at times, but I think he just cares about your success and demands a lot from you, I just think he could go at it a different way. Hard course

Great prof, genuinely cares. However, expects a bit much for this course, which is required for ME students who don't need the depth of knowledge he expects. Daily quizzes are a bit much. Not usually easy questions & nobody has time to study that much to prep for them. Overall, expects too much for ME majors but excellent and helpful instructor.

Probably the worst chemistry teacher at Bradley. Doesn't explain things you need to know for the test and talks about things that are irrelevant. Gives quizzes every single day and the problems he gives are pretty much impossible. The way that he explains things are also way harder than it needs to be.

Chemistry is my absolute worst subject but he's definitely one of my preferred professors that I've had in it. He's really helpful in office hours. Practice a lot. This class involves a lot of algebraic math and chemistry concepts so just work hard for this class. Knowing the nomenclature and remembering some things from Chem 110 is important.

Pardon the grammar I'm limited to 350 characters so he gives a quiz at the start of EVERY class, he is very disrespectful he screamed at a student for using his laptop, he uses mastering chemistry, his exams are very difficult, he doesnt curve anything, his class is way more difficult than need be. Take it at ICC and you are guaranteed an A.

His quizzes were near impossible to the point where the tests were easier, and almost half of my class retook this class the next semester. He's a nice guy and very smart but wasn't quite able to convey the information in a way we could understand.

This is the next step in your chemistry classes and the material is hard. Dean Campbell does a great job of explaining it in ways that relate and ways that make sense. Chemistry is hard and he wants you to learn it, but he understands that not everyone loves chem like he does. Super helpful if you ask

Great teacher. The subject itself is not super easy, but that should be expected. If I were to take the class again, I would pick him.

Dr.C knows what he's talking about. That's for sure. The only problem I had is that he likes to play favorites. I once missed an assignment and asked for an extension with no luck. I later found out that another student in the class was given an extension for the same assignment and for no better reason than mine. watever, just get on his good side

Dr. Campbell was my favorite professor that I had this semester. He is very helpful and always willing to meet you for office hours if you have any questions. The class itself is not easy at all and it takes a lot of time and effort but he is great at guiding you through it. I would definitely recommend him.

My favorite professor this semester by far. He presents the material very clearly in his powerpoints every day. The tests are difficult, but he writes them for the whole department so pay attention in class. Do the readings and the online assignments and you will be fine.

Dr. C is one of the best profs in the Chem Dept. He teaches a hard subject and those who don't put for the the effort are going to hate the class. Taken him for multiple Chem classes and would highly recommend him.

Took as Chemistry major. Dr. Campbell is more than willing to help anyone who asks for it. The only people who do not do well are those who do not try and do not care. He has office hours and an open door policy and is always willing to help. I highly recommend him for CHM 110 and CHM 116.

Dean Campbell is a nice man overall. He really does want all his students to pass with a C or better. Make sure you do well on the sakai quizzes and do your best to prepare for the exams. The class is 8am so make sure u go to take the in-class quizzes, these make a big difference in the end. The class has a sweet curve, at least my section did.

Do not ask for help, you will not get it. (Even if your in the hospital for the entire first week of class). Dropped and took it at ICC, got an A.
