This has been one of my favorite classes I've ever taken. Every lecture is super interesting and keeps you motivated to keep learning. Very nice guy and makes connections with all of his students. Office hours are amazing as well if you are struggling. The only thing is be prepared to read a lot and you better be a good test taker. Not much HW.

Dr. Osberg is the best professor that I have ever taken class with. You have to work and cannot skip class because you take a lot of notes each class. However, you learn a lot and if you work hard, you will succeed and be happy. Dr. Osberg is so knowledgeable about psychology and also very helpful. Don't be afraid to meet with him at his office.

Dr. O is by far my fav prof at NU! His classes are super, super interesting! His class pace is perfect and he throws in jokes when he feels like class is getting bored. LOTS of notes and tests are extremely hard!!! Definitely plan on studying and putting in work for your grade. But overall, super great guy and would take him again!

Goes very fast and is unwilling to help you if you are not doing well. His tests are extremely challenging and your hard work will not necessarily pay off in his Intro to Psychology class. I would not recommend his class to anyone especially if you are not an excellent note-taker because he covers multiple chapters of material in one lecture.

He treats Clinical Psychology like its a graduate class. Be ready to put in the study effort and reading, because his exams are tough. He expects you to participate inside and outside of class *(Blackboard) Lectures are long. Assignments aren't too much. Overall a good professor, with a passion for Psychology.

He is the man. He is a great teacher, and great to all of his students. He must teach 400 students a semester, and I have not heard one person say a bad thing. He is great, and I highly recommend him, if you are ready to work. It is a very difficult class, but it is still doable if you put hard work into

Tests are based off of the book and notes, so STUDY!! They can be quite difficult. If you have any problems, Dr. O is super helpful. There's three tests, mini web assignments and a term paper. It's a really interesting class.

Dr. Osberg is the best psychology professor I've had at NU. He is extremely helpful, wants his students to do well, and is also a great resource for graduate school advice and guidance. You have to study a lot for his classes, but they're crucial for anyone wanting a career in therapy.

Hard professor. You must be willing to study hard for tests. Material is very interesting. His classes are pretty much mandatory since a lot of the exam is based on note taking, which there is a lot of in class. No study guides before exams. He is willing to help his students if they ask, and provided my class with a tutor.

Nice guy. Exams are extremely difficult. Classes are very boring and it is all a bunch of note taking. You must also be a quick note taker or you will not have everything down. Didn't really enjoy the class myself so I would not recommend it.

Funny yet boring. The ridiculously fast note-taking is annoying, so if you can bring a laptop to type the notes. Beware when he tells you things are extra credit because it really means theyre required because he uses a total point system. My grade clearly added up to a B+ or A- but he gave me a B and couldnt change it because it was already summer

class is boring. all you do is take notes at 100 mph and the class is all memorization. psychology is interesting, but a year from now i probably wont remember any of it. tests are pretty hard too. too hard for an intro class. i could see why you would like him if you were a psych major cause he seems like a good person.

Dr. Osberg is very committed to helping his students succeed, always available to answer questions, genuine, sincere, fair, lectures are exceptionally well prepared, but you have take notes fast. Very knowledgable of subject areas, classes are challenging as they should be at college. More professors should be this committed.
