1 of my favorite teachers & classes ever! Highly recommend 2 anyone serious abt learning/improving, passion8 abt art or just need the class & willing 2 do the work. If U plan 2 talk or B on ur phone during class, show up L8, leave early & skip class (stuff the real world won't put up with) don't expect an A. Do the work, try hard, be in class A

Awesome professor and very helpful! If you need help correcting a piece of art you're working on, he'll point out to you what needs to be and how it needs to be fixed. If you do skip his class, then you'll have to make up a good bit of work. Work hard and put effort in the class and you will pass! Also, you can add pieces of art for extra credit.

Awesome professor, I would highly recommend him, and if I needed another drawing class I would take him again. He is very helpful and also lets you add bonus drawings for extra points to your grade, if you miss a class then you would need to catch up on a ton for his summer class.

Bill Bill Bill... He is unclear about his expectations and then gets upset when you do not meet them. He expects you to understand his cryptic feedback and gets upset when you don't do what he suggested, when you don't even KNOW what he suggested. He doesn't just say what he wants from you, he expects you to guess.

I really like Bill. For 3D Synthesis, he opens up the sculpture room and shows us how to use several building materials. Also, he's extremely helpful and for 3D Synthesis, he gives every student a specific aim on building based on basic sculptures. However, he'll try to keep pushing you into creating good sculptures.

Bill is extremely helpful and supportive, a fabulous art instructor - knowledgeable in an impressively wide scope of building techniques. He doesn't appreciate students trying to figure out what he "likes" - don't do it! My sculptures were very organic and I did great - he wants students to find their own voice as artists. Would definitely recomm.

Best professor I've had doesn't tell you what you need to do but points you in the right direction. Favorite thing to say to me "Good now make it bigger". Thinks more geometicly then organicly for art students so he likes the more architectual projects more some times.
