Professor Tully was a nice guy, but the tests were very difficult and counted for the majority of our grade. However, he was available for help and always curved the tests a lot.

Professor Tully is a great guy. He tells students on the first day that the class is going to be difficult and your going to have to work for a good grade. Tests are curved based on how the class does. If you work hard and put in an effort to understand the course material then you will do well. Tully is always reachable outside the classroom.

Comment:
He is very straightforward about the difficulty of the course. This course requires a lot of outside studying and reading. It can be confusing because of the different explanations between professor and textbook. Provides curves upwards of 25 points on exams. Advice: do the homework each week as you go, instead all at once at the end.

Tully is a great guy, but not the best teacher. Cost accounting is a hard subject and he doesn't always do the best job explaining things. Theres a ton of homework all due the day of the test on My Accounting Lab and there are 3 tests. He wants you to do well, but you 100% have to put in the effort and go see him if you're lost. It is not an easy A

Worst class I have ever taken. It is impossible. I learned nothing. It is much different then financial. His lectures are pointless and will not teach you anything or prepare you for the test. Homework is a huge workload and is really hard. Your grade is only 3 tests and all of them are hard. Do not take. Attendance is a joke.

Comment:
Prof. Tully is very under-rated. he is a very good prof. and explains material well. It's just acct. concepts are hard to understand themselves, but he does his best to help students. Gives great feedback on all exams by having separate meetings on Sat. or Sun. and answers all questions. You have to work a lot, hw and textbook are essential.

Comment:
The only way you will get an A in his class or any other accounting class is if you read the textbook. He says it the first day of class and continually asks for you to read for the rest of the semester. His lessons are brief and unfocused in class, therefore, you will not fully understand the material unless you read.

Don't expect this class to help your GPA. He goes off on tangents during teaching lectures, great guy, but not a great teacher. Homework is very time consuming and the tests are challenging but graded on a curve. Don't be fooled, the curve only helps a little. But he's willing to help you. Don't take this class if you're trying to better your GPA.

if you don't have a passing test average, he does NOT include your homework into your final grade. Homework is 25% of your grade. Test are impossible, homework's take you forever. Do not recommend. AVOID.

As an Accounting Major, i thought this class had no relevance to the curriculum. than being said, he is not extremely clear in his lectures, and his tests are tough. homework is online using MyAccountingLab (yikes). He is EXTREMELY helpful in office hours.

I got an A in the class without ever going, but other people need to go. He is really helpful and I constantly got emails about office hours. He really cares and is always willing to help. He does give a lot of homework though. I can't wait to take him again

Worst professor I have ever had by far...Does not teach anything. He thinks it's great how everyone says he's the hardest test maker. He is sick in the head.Assigns online hw and that's what you learn out of the class. Text book is not helpful. I went online and looked up youtube videos of other people teaching the topics to learn the material.

He is the most useless teacher I have ever had. He may as well signed hi paychecks over to me because I taught myself Cost Accounting! It is not a subject that should be left to students to figure out. I refuse to ask him questions because he waists more time NOT answering them. He needs some serious time management lessons!

Great guy, great professor. Doesn't get through much of the material in class so most of the learning has to be done at home, and the homework is done at your own pace just has to be done before the tests take place. Tests are hard but fair. I'd recommend.

Nice guy, always there to help if you ask for it. The majority of learning takes place after class with a textbook. As long as you do your assignments before the test and study enough to actually understand the material and comprehend the concepts, you'll be fine.
