Prof Sanford taught the second half of my BUS 201 online course. No textbook needed for his half! He makes outlines that you can easily follow along to with his lectures, quizzes, and tests. You may not like him at first but you warm up to him. Watch all his lectures at 2x the speed!

3 words: TAKE PROFESSOR SANFORD! This class was my favorite class at Grand Valley, prof sanford was amazing. He truly cares for his students and wants the best for us. All his quizzes/notes are set up from a weekly outline, if you go to/watch the lectures you will be 100% set. If you want to be impacted forever and want an easy A take this class!

One of my favorite professors so far. Was incredibly versed in the material while understanding that students are not professionals by any means. Had reasonable expectations of students. Was super personable in lectures and assignments. Great guy on top of that all.

I took Sanford online and it was pretty easy for the most part, but this class has tons of material. He would probably be better to take in person. The quizzes NORMALLY go by the lectures, but there are situational questions that are pretty difficult. No assignments besides discussion.

Overall a great guy and super helpful. Hes very knowledgeable on the subject and he gives great advice for everyday problems in law. Definitely recommend his class.

Professor Sanford is passionate about the course material and genuinely cares for his students. However, I found the class to be extremely difficult because his textbook tends to be unorganized and unclear. He teaches through stories, so you have to pay close attention in lectures. This class requires a lot of outside work on your own.

Your grade is dependent on 3 tests. Show up, take very detailed notes, and memorize the different concepts (+ their examples) from the study guide, and you will be PERFECTLY fine! His tests aren't incredibly easy. Just be able to act and read like an adult- he doesn't like stupidity but he is more than okay if you answer a question wrong in class.

Easily my favorite professor, all the good reviews are true. I genuinely looked forward to his lectures every week because always had interesting stories to make the content enjoyable. If you have the chance, you need to take Sanford!

Professor Sanford is so great! As long as you go to class and take good notes you will do just fine. He doesnt give out homework and you grade is based on the average of the 3 tests. He writes his own notes for your textbook. I learned a lot from this class and would recommend to anyone!

Best professor I've had at GV! His lectures are actually enjoyable. He goes through a lot of information so its important to write everything down. Your grade is based on 3 exams only with no extra credit. The first test is the easiest one. He tells you exactly what will be on every exam. He also typically lets you out early.

Professor Sanford is an amazing professor. I couldn't recommend him enough. His lectures are always so interesting and its clear he knows what he's talking about. He never assigns homework and as long as you go to your lectures and pay attention there's no reason you wouldn't get an A. He's one of my favorite profs :)

He is a very nice and funny guy. The book you buy for class is all you need and it is the notes he goes off of for lectures. Tests are kind of hard but the harder you study the better you'll do. Only 5 mandatory classes but it's beneficial to go every day if you can.

There's no homework and no quizzes. Three big exams determine your grade. All the material is in a yellow book and a blue book. Lots of students in each class. I personally had a tutor just to make sure I'd pass with a high grade. He dropped our lowest grade if we got a C- or higher on the third exam. He lectures the whole hour and is a funny guy.

Professor Sanford is one of my favorite professors I've had. Lectures are entertaining and you get out early everyday. Only downfall is that exams are the only grades. So if you're not a good test taker, I don't suggest this class. Only requires you to buy a book of his notes that is $9 (twice) which is nice.

Professor Sanford is one of the best professors I have had at GVSU. His lectures are interesting and he is very clear about what will be on the exams. He gives multiple extra credit opportunities. His teaching style is very unique and it made class exciting to go to. I would recommend him to anyone who has to take BUS Law.

Amazing guy!! I love him. his textbook is written by him and is only 12$. Your grade is based on 3 tests only but if you come to class and study you should do fine. lectures can be boring but Sanford does his best to keep them as interesting as possible. If you have the chance, take Sanford!

Professor Sanford is the one to take for BUS 201! He sits down in front of the class and lectures for about an hour, but all that he talks about is what is on the test. He makes his own books with relevant, up to date information. Listen to his stories and study all the specific details to ace the tests. Only grades are 3 tests, drops the lowest.

Prof Sanford is really a great guy who cares a lot about his students. You have to come to class though or you won't pass, but as long as you show up you'll get a good grade because he makes it really clear on what is on the test in class.
